I saw the game, I went away amazed at Clarkrange's basketball team. They are very well coached. I thought the game was called very good by the Ref's. There may have been a couple of calls missed against both teams. Crossville just has more depth. Crossville probably has the best team in the upper cumberlands. They also have the largest school. Clarkrange should look at that loss as a victory.

Yes, freshman Lindsay Smith hit a shot at the buzzer to take the lady jets and lady buffalos into OT. But Cumberland Co. DOMINATED in overtime. Nobody had a very good shooting game.  Lost track of how many walks the official called, there was so many.  I am not sure of the stats of the game.  If any one does know please post them. :) Was a great game, WAY TO GO LADY JETS!!!

Dominate: to have a commanding or preminent place or position. The LADY JETS did not dominate if you use this definition from Webster. They are about an average team that should be able to beat a school with less than 200 students vs. a school with approximately 2000 students. I would count my blessings just to get out with a win and not be embarrassed by losing to a single A school. The LADY JETS had about 25 players total,CLARKRANGE has about 12 players total. Now BANANZA 13 do you really think you dominated the game by having to go into overtime? You should always be gracious in winning, but that would be showing some class which you apparently don't have. The LADY JETS played a good game, CONGRATS on the win and good luck the rest of the season.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
