USA1
I am pulling for BA 100% and believe they can pull this off if they play great, but either way this will be great expierence for the team and should help them come tourney time. And I agree with Wes.....nice to see an MBA fan come out of hiburnation, RRR- did you see Brandan's dunk on Thursday @ MBA? 825552901 That was an incredible dunk timed with the MBA student cheering section in mid-taunt. HEY, did anyone get a video of it!?!?!? Can they post a link?!?!!? (Just kidding)
wneely
I'm not a fan of either team, so I won't claim to be. I don't care who wins.

Everyone could see when Brandan got the ball just past half court that he was going to dunk it. The cheering section was rooting him on. Who doesn't like to see a great dunk?!! It was awesome. The game I was watching was a sad and pitiful game and this is unlikely to improve with Ensworth getting most of the good players. But, I digress. I agree that he was cheered on after the dunk by the entire gym. However, just prior to the steal and pass to Brandan, the students were chanting "over-rated". Just prior to that and just after that there was a series of inaudible, but seemingly mean spirited chants, as defeat had reared it's ugly head. bballfan01
Brentwood Academy travels out to California to play USAToday #25 Mater Dei on Saturday. Mater Dei is the big favorite, but who will root for, and why? Not a question of who do you think will win, but who are you rooting for. 825551374 I am rooting for BA because they are a TN team and it is good to see a TN team get some pub. I am pretty sure Brandan will play big time, he always does. I hope he gets help from the other guys.

But, I digress. 825553138 Ensworth will need them: 2/3/05: MBA 45, Ensworth 39 (8th grade game) 2/3/05: MBA 51, Ensworth 27 (7th grade game) 1/31/05: MBA 34, Ensworth 21 (freshman game) 1/21/05: MBA 50, Ensworth 23 (7th grade game) 12/14/04: MBA 27, Ensworth 14 (freshman game) Whether MBA improves in varsity hoops or not is debatable, but an MBA kid leaving for Ensworth is much less likely than an Ensworth kid leaving for MBA. Maybe the non-MBA and non-Ensworth kids may make a difference, but seeing that neither school has filled its next freshman class yet, I do not see how EHS is "getting most of the good players". But, I digress as well. Edited February 6, 2005 by rollredroll

tastyoats
oh man. I think I speak for all Mustache Mafia members when I say I wish I could be there right now supporting our team. It's gonna be a great game, and a tough one for BA to pull out a victory in, but I think that BA will at least keep it close (if indeed they lose) and represent TN. Is there any possible way to get updates? Edited February 6, 2005 by tastyoats
