How can u compare mccallie and soddy daisy? Mccallies field is great! Soddys field is like some little league fields i have played on with the fences.

Are you kidding? Soddy Daisy has a nice field but i dont think they really planned out the location too well. On a cold windy day you will freeze on that hill. There are no trees, hills, etc blocking wind or sun. It stinks.

Baylor is making many new additions to its field this year. Adding a great field lighting setup. Lighting will be the best around. Two new batting cages with padded turf for surface. Playing field turf will be great this year. New wind screen and fence guard safety cap around outfield fence. Baylor has always had the great classic club house looking dugouts. The field is placed in a beautiful location on the banks of the Tennessee River with Signal Mountain and Lookout Moutain cast in the scene off 1st base. Baylor Lake off to center field. I believe all who see  Baylor's field this year will be impressed. Baylor's field could be a little deeper so to keep hitters honest. All of the fields talked of about are nice and have their distinct feel. Lookout Valley's Coach really takes good care of the field and I have never seen it looking bad. Coach Turner of WV really takes pride in all his baseball club. He liked the training building at Pigeon Force very much. He may have one by now. Ooltewah's field is in a nice setting. The field itself looks to slope alot toward outfield. The pitchers rubber looks as if it is below home plate. I know it not to be so if measured for grade, but the illusion of the field slope makes it seem so from the right field seats.

Play---Ball...have fun!

That was pretty tacky.

I kind of like the hill. IT's an awesome view! Maybe a little windy at times, but a good park. Not a pitchers park for sure!

Lookout Valley has an awesome complex.  But, Central???  You've got to be kidding, right?  You must be the guy that sold them the landscape timbers for their foul lines!

yeah i agree there backr.... central is like the banks of bristol when you round 3rd base heading for home... unless you want to break your ankle, you have to slam on the emergency brake...

plus the foul lines are terrible... and the outfield is kind of rough/clumpy when it comes to the grass.

however, i do think their infield grass is in good shape... it is probably mown the closest in chattanooga, blc last year when we played on it, the infield was slick.

Allright!  Great picture!  Now see if you can get the school website up!

gotcha covered there backr... the website is up and so is the baseball site... however, the links on the navigational bar for the baseball site aren't working yet... still have to configure it a little... but for the most part, everything is swell... still got some kinks to work out.
