Centennial goalie, Ryan McConnell, (jr) i believe is the best goaltender in division 2 lacrosse in tn. He made first team all state last year as a sophomore. I had a chance to play with him on a u-16 team this past summer where he showcased his defensive abilities. He's got talent and is a goalie that, potentially, could be playing division 1 college lacrosse in a couple of years.

Alex Barnes, (soph) at Ravenwood, is another growing prospect. Along with McConnell, Barnes is another great division 2 goaltender and leader. If they stay healthy and play their game, I can see these two goalies becoming division 2 all state goaltenders.

Barnes is much more physical. I think they may be equal in talent but Barnes is sort of a hot head, McConnell seems to clear better and have better stick skills.

McConnell is also great because he is smart in the goal. He is totally aware of how a player will try to exlpoit him , and uses that to his advantage. I totally trust him in the cage.

There is only 2 things I need to say for now and that is that the 2 goalies from West Knox have the BEST save % in the state Brandt(starter) and Tipton(2nd) so... wacth out for West Knox!

i'm preston watson and the only thing i have to say is logan massengale is the best goalie in the continental u.s. and parts of canada. he is wicked tall and not very athletic but o well ROLL TIDE!

i definately think that Chris Taylor is the best goalie in the state, not only did he make 17 wicked saves in the win over MUS, he is the leader of CBHS. he doesnt lose his cool like many other goalies, like Rainer...

Was the "like rainer" comment absolutely necessary? Each player has their own style and I am seeing this as another pathetic attempt to get people roused up and start arguing again.
