jvaughan
District 15A finally gets kicked off tommorrow with Dresden vs. Gleason first, and then Greenfield vs. South Fulton in the night cap. This is the first time since this district has been formed (1998) that Greenfield and SF will not meet in the championship, and Dresden and Gleason will not play in the 3rd place game. Also might be the last time for a while with the new district next year. But anyways anybody want to make a prediction or two?

Greenfieldfan
Its tournament time and Greenfield likes this time of the year. I'm going with the Yellowjackets. We believe in you guys.
SportsNation
Greenfield should emerge as the champion in this district. I believe now that the real season begins, Coach Trevathan will have the boys ready as he did last year. Dresden and South Fulton are both formidable opponents, Gleason is hurting since they lost the big man (Lucas Carey), but I look for Shane to be dominant. The region will be where the "hot" action will begin. Many strongs teams that are fairly evenly matched, including the Tide of Peabody. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't knocked off by Lake County in their district tournament. This will be one of the most evenly matched region tournaments in years. thumb
SportsNation
Dresden in the first game by several; South Fulton wins the second in a close one. 825568841[/snapback] Pretty much all Greenfield after the 1st quarter. Hicks (36 points) tried to keep them in it, but he didn't get any help. A lot of tick tack fouls both ways and several turnovers by both teams. Shane & Reynolds each had 29. Both teams will have to play alot better to compete with District 16A opponents.

No help Peat threw in 14 despite not playing half of the first quater and none of the 2nd b/c of 2 pitfull calls by the refs. South Fulton had chance to come back in the second half until they got within 7 and whistle started blowing again with 2 South Fulton players fouling out. And with 4 players on the court the still competed and hustle their butts off. Great hustle boys and keep ur heads up........They might meet again and it won't be the same results.......SF REPPIN thumb Edited February 18, 2005 by TN04
SportsNation
Everybody has the vantage point of what they observed. I was wondering why Greenfield never really applied the press, but that for the pine leader. South Fulton gave a great effort, I noticed the big man getting cramps in the 4th. If there would have been a couple of more players, probably an even closer game.
TN04
Excuse me Jeremy Wilson did NOt get kicked off of the team he had problems w/ his back will be back Saturday for the constalation game and Regionals. That might been the problem.
westtn_basketball
The absense of Wilson was the losing factor in the game, not the refs. There was some trouble, but he is not kicked off the team. Maybe you should check YOUR sources.
