SP will be in the game for about 5 minutes and then everyone will realize they are over-rated

Obviously non of you all have seen any of the game that south pitt has played against lookout valley and ccs.the first game game south pitt was winning at half time by 5. They also had two sophmore starters making their first career starts so they played pretty well.they won the first game against lookout valley.the second game against ccs south pitt had them down by 8 at the most at the start of the fourth quarter and ended up getting beat by 5.in the second game against lookout valley the pirates were beating lv going into the fourth quarter.in the last game against lv the pirates were winning by 11pts at the half and had a meltdown in third, but they had a miracle happen and prevailed. In other words what i am saying is that while all you people say that pitt is not very good they have been going up pretty strong against these teams and their main problem is sustaing a lead which must come from the leadership of the ball handlers.they are not as weak as you say they deserve a little respect.Got that off of my chest

What people need to understand is this. S.P. probably feels good about their team. I remember a few years ago they went several seasons without winning a game against the same people they play now. Chattanooga Christian and Valley use to beat them by 50 points. Now, they have won 2 out of 3 against Valley and chances to beat Christian. They played them to a 4 or 5 point game last time so this game should be pretty good. I give them credit. They are no Temple, but they are ALOT better than people around here in this football town are use too seeing out of them.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
