midwaysoftball7
We have all the starters back this year and some new talent in the freshman. I think that we will be very good this year with an older team and will go far. What does everyone else think will happen for us this year? hopalot
Who are your top 2 pitchers? You guys had a good run at the end of last year, will you pick up from there? Right now, where would do you think your team will finish in the district? I heard Cosby is really weak, Greenback is okay, don't know anything about CAK. How many seniors do you have? Good Luck!!!!! CoachLogan74
Midway im sure will make a run to the State Tournament again, but if youre looking for CAK information, ive got a little stat for you. Last season, in 5 games, CAK outscored Midway 45-2.
hopalot
Wow, so CAK and Midway were in the state together? That's a tough district!!! Didn't Cosby have a good run a couple of years back? Coachlogan74, how would you predict this district? CAK, Midway, Greenback, Cosby.......?
CoachLogan74
i mean no disrespect to the other three teams but CAK will run away with this district. With the exception of 1 run by Midway, CAK shut out the three teams in their district for the rest of the games played. Midway, Cosby and Greenback will have the toughest competition between each other playing for second place.

But, granted, you're probably right! Best of luck to my coaching buddy Steve Jones and the CAK gals. They have an excellent program. ---rSquared
hopalot
How did Viar pitch? Did she walk many, k's, etc.?
jacketsfan13
CAK will do well in single A. They have the best pitcher in Single A in east tn that I have seen. They beat Kingston 10-1.
wpasi
Watched Midway play last night. Looks like a solid team that is starting to peek. Good luck to the SOR girls.
