From what I have been told we will have most of our linemen back and will have to replace our skilled kids. We have some good looking young skilled players that will have to shine when it is there time to perform. I will update you after spring practice which will start on Monday April 28th. I think we have a chance to be a pretty good football team by the fall, but your never know how change effects kids.

Look for Kenwood to make some noise. They have one of the most dynamic players I have seen in Clarksville since Gildersleeve & Stephens. Rossview will be good again. Good athletes. They both & all of Clarksville will be chasing Henry County again this year. But.......one of them may catch them this season. Good luck to all.

So what did you learn from the spring. You competed with Overton so that's a good sign right?

Kickrox the best thing that came out of spring is that we are pretty good up front and have a lot of speed. I thought defensively we have a shot at being very good. Offensively we have some athletes to work with they just need playing time. By the end of the year we have a chance to be pretty good. The front end of our schedule is tough.

Replace the QB will be the most important thing starting fall camp. The good thing is that most of our skilled athletes are soph and jr. Looking forward to start the fall. Thanks for following NE.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
