Tssaa is making an effort to let kids get acclimated to the heat before full pads come on.

I believe your mistaken, Monday is the first day anything other than helmets can be worn.

Check this link out, not only are shells allowed this week if you want your team to be in full pads this Monday the players must have participated in three days of shells practice this week or they cannot participate in full pads until that requirement is met.
