It's one those schools with a high turnover rate! U get in a good athlete and someone talks them into leaving or he's in a single parent home that just never stays in one place long. The school has always been this way. Good coach or great coach if the kids don't stay it's very hard to build a good team.

Actually back in my day Antioch was a school where the kids did stay all four years and they were considered the "farmers." Woodward did a good job of building the program. It could be done again.

What exactly does that mean? The coach needs to be 16-18 years old and multi-cultural while living in a lower-middle class neighborhood?

You know exactly what I mean, and I will leave it at that.  The head coaches don't fit the players.

Kids need a coach that teaches them football, teaches them how to be a man, and cares about them. Don't think you find that in any demographic data.

I don't think u would find any kids there now that are considered " farmers." I don't think it's been that way in a while. No disrespect intended.

Actually when Woodward was there Hill Billy Jim's son was on the team. and there have been farmers there recently, not many but a few from across the lake.

That's why it's a tough place for a head coach winning here and there isn't a solid program. Sooner or later it gets u fired. But if ur a new coach and ur trying to get started it's good experience.

I think Antioch will do well in the new region. Just have to be top four to be a playoff team. Any word on names being tossed around of those who are interested.

Wrong , they are in the playoffs right now in their new region. All 8 teams go to the playoffs, so they can go 0-10 and be a playoff team:)
