Union City basketball team I am not making any excuses about them losing the game. I think we were out coached. When Stockdale picked up his 3rd foul and the coach left him in the game to get his 4th one before half time was dumb. The men on our own radio station were going crazy about it. Even they were saying that Stockdale was the leader of the team. these guys called the games all 4 years so they would know, everyone that followed the team would tell you the same thing. It is what it is the season is over and the seniors had a great 4 years.

Only obvious leader on the team was Donte Simpson.  He gave his all, lead by example and effort.  Jogged on and off the court.  Great attitude.  A great role model to the younger players on the team and in the stands.  Proud of the entire team and coaching staff.  Hard to reach the title game without great players and great coaches.  Called "team effort"

get over it...everyone knows in Obion County all the athletes go to UC and the rest go to OCHS...

you are wrong.  Kids transfer to OC, kids transfer to UC.  Every kid on the basketball team are all original UC students (elementary, middle and high school) except for the Stewart kid who was an out of state transfer.  There are plenty of athletes at OCHS, they just need the right coaches to fulfill their potential.

No offence, but you're hurting your son moreso than helping him by blasting the coaches and everyone else. College coaches don't want to put up with all of the extra BS.... They don't have to. If I'm a college coach and I see how you act as a parent or relative to the said player, that player is coming with a lot of drama and will be marked off the list.

I have to be honest here. 1 foul or 6 fouls, it would not have mattered. Our game plan was to make them run the offense through him.. We knew he was their best post player but we had an advantage with our l6-6, 6-6, 6-4, and 6-7 post players. We knew if he scored it would be on put backs or fastbreak points. Without a true point guard, which UC did not have,, scoring against our defense was almost impossible for Stockdale.

Galilee your wrong!..The only 2 points he had was on a post move..It wasnt a stick back..He missed a couple of open looks that he usually makes..Nobody for UC shot the ball well.
