1. Columbia Academy

2. Huntland

3. Moore Co./Fayetteville

4. from there on it's a fight for ranking.

For all those knowing me as a long time mTp fan/supporter.... IMO... mTp is not reloading, they are rebuilding... mTp returns one good offensive weapon in their QB - Crawford. The rest is a wait and see what they can do type of deal. Middle of the pack as of now, definitely not the bottom of the pile. mTp needs weapons. Will they step up and out? Remains to be seen.

CA should reign this region again this year.

In your honest opinion what do you feel the realistic expectations are for your Tigers this season in wins?

Honestly CA should be the favorite, but I truley believe another team could slip in and win this region. CA was a pass heavy team that lost their starting QB. Will they have someone that can throw to Thompson? Mt. Pleasant returns a very talented athlete Crawford and will always have talent around. Moore Co and Huntland idk much about, other than last year, but if Huntland didn't lose much from last years team, than they have a good shot.

1. CA: until someone beats them, they are top

2. MTP:

3. Huntland

4. MC

I think MTP will reload, with speed all over the field, Coach From GameTime told me that Warnsley ran a laser timed 4.55 and Bullock ran a 4.50 on thier 40's. With others running sub 4.8's. They will have to find some linemen to replace but I think the skill is there. I don't see them below 3rd place.

You seen my top 4... +1 for Wayne Co (non Region game)..... subract that number from 10.

Speed is one thing and talent with the ball in your hands is another. Bubba Clifton could out run Marco Dailey flat out (Bubba was a tad bit faster) but Marco Dailey could still out run Bubba if you know what I mean....

Now you said "feeling" when it came to my outlook this up coming season.... I will be able to give better "feelings" after fall scrimmages.

Go Tigers! :thumb:

Yes indeed Bubba could outrun Marco in a 40. I remember those 2 very very well! I got a picture somewhere of me tackling Bubba. He was a nice back. Anyways yeah i look forward to reading your outlook!

    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
    • 7 Pages of complaining because the lacrosse team put removable lines on the field so that they could practice/play lacrosse  Y'all boys are bored huh lol
