Betwixtbetween
Who ya got? I know cookeville lost a lot from last year but there defense looks to be excellent. Giving up only 75 yards total in 2 games. Offensively they are scoring in bunches. Looks like a lot of stupid penalties have really hurt them and kept them from looking more dominant. Is it a product of who they have played or, does the Stache have a better club than initially though? On the flip. WC looked like a different club against the blue devils than against the Tigers. Was that a result of a really bad Lebanon squad or a WC bunch who is beginning to find themselves? They can run the ball well and their offensive line is massive and very athletic. The big back they have is a punisher that runs hard and is hard to tackle. There wideouts look very fast and athletic and the Qb is a clone of Joshua Dobbs at Tennessee. Not a great thrower of the ball but makes things happen with his feet. Defensively they look much improved up front their linebackers are really good and number 35 is a hit machine. Slower than most teams there but maybe smarter. Their secondary looks the most improved to me. This should be a good game and as bad as I want to predict a WC win I just don't think they are experienced enough to know how to win this type of game. I have this one at 40-35 cookeville. What about you?
thegreatone36
Cookeville will win it fairly easy IMO
thegreatone36
Cookeville will win it fairly easy IMO. Its always good to get a win under your belts, but, Lebanon and Cookeville are two totally opposite teams. I'll say 41-27 Cookeville. Good luck to both teams. dezcaughtit
Warren looked decent against a bad Lebanon team. A win is a win though. Pioneers first win against 6A competition in few years I believe. This week however, it's back to reality. Cookeville 45 Warren 14. Pioneers next realistic shot at s victory is senior night against Coffee County

I do choose to believe you and others don't give that large offensive line and that huge running back enough credit.

I do choose to believe you and others don't give that large offensive line and that huge running back enough credit. Warrens o line did do well against Lebanon, and the big back runs hard. If the Pioneers can run well and control the clock they have a shot at keeping it relatively close. If Moore starts going to the passing game though I believe it gets out of hand quick. The QB is not real accurate and does better with his legs. I wish them well, I just don't think they have enough speed and athleticism to compete against the rest of their schedule accept for Sequatchie and Coffee. daddykriley
I think Cookeville wins. Would say blow out but What worries me is the penalties! Last two games I would guess over 100yrds in penalties, this is what scares me. Cookeville looks to have a real good team they should handle WC, but if cookevilles keeps being their own worst enemy any thing could happen! Cookevilles team shows flashes of greatness(region champs), but keeps putting out their own fire with yellow hankies. Let's hope jimmy gets it fixed and fast. #fearthestash
THE SQUAD
Yeah Cavs killing themselves with penalties thus far but hopefully we get that cleaned up. Defense does look great so far but offense still has work to do. Especially the passing game. That's understandable with a first time starter who hasn't played QB in a few years. He will get better. CAVS will have to continue to get better every week as we play a better team every week. We will see. Good win for the Pioneers last week over a 6A team. I don't care who the team is, if you beat a 6A team like you did last week it's a good sign.
