Jordan Mason had 200 yds rushing against MJ. And it only tallied up 6 pts that night for my Green Wave. Granted it just wasn't our night, but credit MJ for stopping them when it counted: inside the 5 yd line. I doubt MJ is going to be intimidated by Franklin's unstoppable rushing attack after facing Jordan Mason......

The only way MJ can beat Franklin is to shut down the run. Franklins running game is one of the best ive seen all year. If they keep them under 200 yards they might have a chance but with the current MJ defense that's highly unlikely. Franklin 38 MJ 14

Wilson Centrals RB torched them for 182 yards.... I'm really not worried about our running game behind a future mr football finalist and probably the biggest/strongest oline in the state.

As if we are all striving to be up to Franklin Rebels football quality. Better football team: Gallatin. Better stadium atmosphere: Gallatin.

More Championships: Gallatin. Better uniforms: Gallatin. Better fan support: Gallatin. Less snoody town: Gallatin. You're right, Gallatin is no Franklin. Thanks for reminding us how fortunate we are, have been, and will be.

In all honesty this should be a great game. Not seeing a 38-14 final score from either team though.

If I was to stick to my realistic mindset that I preach on here, I would say Franklin by a score. With that being said MJ has a great chance to beat Franklin after seeing what Wilson Central did to them. If Central could have converted inside Frankins 5 yard line twice, it would be a different story for the Rebels. If you look at Common opponents everything matches up evenly, with a slight edge to Franklin. The rebels are well coached and make few mistakes. MJ will need a turnover free game and very few penalties which I'm sure TP and company will make sure of come Friday night.

 

I might be wrong but I seem to remember Wilson Central moving the ball mostly through the air. Didn't they have almost 300 yards passing?

Yes but that's WC forte, they did it well but their feature tailback also rushed 16 times for 134, not bad at all. I don't think MJ is intimated by Franklins prestigious D.

That's fair, I don't see more than a 10 point spread for either team.
