You were saying??

Congrats to Catholic, Great Season Macon. Best of Luck to All the Kids

They hit shots... we didn't. Not saying MC would've won, but it would've been a little bit closer. MC should be the favorites in the district next year. 4 returning starters.

Great Season MC. Learn from the Shortcomings & Get Better. Maybe your Coach will seek competition outside his Comfort Zone, as you van see the level of Competition from that Region to the Knoxville Region is a lot different & a huge difference in the Upper Cumberland & the Knoxville area, ask your Coach to seek tougher comp to better prepare your team. Lots of Coaches could benefit from playing a tougher schedule. In the grand scheme winning 30 games in High School really doesn't mean a lot. Best of Luck to Y'all

Will have to say you guys can't shoot much better than that. Just not going to happen. 57.4% 31-54 from the field and right at 50% 9-19 from the 3. I gurantee you guys don't shoot on average of 60% a night every night. You guys played a great game though and was huge to shoot like that in the glass house.

If I am the next competitor I would hack a shaq the left handed kid every time he touched it down low. Less than 50% from the FT line and think he was 0-6 tonight.

We generally shoot the ball well. Sompayrac and Smith are usually better from 3. We got three 3s late from the bench. Normally much better at the FT line too. We don't get the ball to the left handed post that much unless he has a layup. He's there for rebounds and defense.

Shooting in an Arena always effects High School Kids

Welch usually takes the team to the Heritage tournament in East Tennessee and sometimes different places in that area. The Knoxville area has some stout teams. I think MC has a good shot at being in the glasshouse again next year.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
