South Gibson could be moved out of they District, say you have Southside

Northside

South Gibson, not far from Jackson.

Chester County

McNairy

Adamsville

This could be District 14AA

District 15AA

Haywood

Fayette Ware

Millington

Covington

Bolivar

District 13AA

Dyersburg

Crockett County

Obion

Ripley

Westview

Milan

District 12AA

Scots Hill

Riverside

Lexington

Camden

And two more schools

I think this is the more suitable for everyone, with travel and competition levels in basketball

you are right. would be more driving for South Side. Would also be more driving for Bolivar. There is no easy answer. 12AA can't look like that though because it is set - CPA, Marshall County, Cascade, Giles County, Page, Spring Hill. Maybe add Riverside to 12AA? Slide Fayette Ware to 15AA and drop Scott's Hill and Adamsville in 14AA?

District 14 has been the best district in the area for a while now. with taking FW out the competition goes down but you still have Bolivar (rumors are they are on the way back up), Lexington who has finished either 1,2,or 3 the last 3 years and McNairy who is much better. No way South Side beats all those teams by 20. I Also think Fayette Ware is top 3 in that district.

South Side won't get better playing in that weak district. They would beat everyone by 20 every game. Fayette-Ware probably needs to ask to stay in 14. Probably the 4th or 5th best team in 15-AA IMO

How is Fayette ware the 4th or 5th best team in 15AA, you must be talking about the girls teams. when they play all those teams in that district and beat them? Southside don't care about playing competition look at they schedule every year. It's always 15 cupcake games. If Southside stays in 14AA They will go to substrate every year. If Fayette Ware goes to 15AA they will always be in the top 3. Do y'all forget that Fayette Ware was in the district with Haywood, Ripley, Covington and Northside before the last classification change.

You right I don't think Southside beats everyone by 20 every game, but o do think they will be in the district championship game every year, but hey they already in the district championship game every year already. But if Fayette Ware leaves it now becomes who is 2 Lexington or Bolivar

CPA is in District 11 not 12, so do all those teams go to District 11? And now District 14 becomes District 12 like it was in 2004 era?

Page and Spring Hill are now AAA. CPA is now in D1. Cascade is now A. This district will have to be completely revamped with only Giles and Marshall remaining.

11AA and 12AA will be interesting and will probably dictate what happens to Riverside and Scotts Hill.

11AA- Lewis, Hickman, East Hickman, Waverly, Fairview, Creek Wood, Camden, Stewart Co.

12AA- Nolensville, Giles, Marshall

I would assume that Community and Forrest join 12AA meaning they would only need 1 more to get to 6 teams. 11AA was a 9 team district last year and only lost Montgomery Central.

My guess would be that Fairview joins Nolensville in 12AA and Riverside could end up in 11AA. Riverside to Creek Wood is a 90 minute drive and nothing is close to Stewart Co.

Nolensville likely to move up and play in AAA.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
