Merrol Hyde also showed last week that they could surprise some teams by beating Central Magnet (in a game suspended at halftime for lightning) and Chattanooga Christian.

Pigeon Forge has a different style of play that a lot of teams. The coach has done a good job fitting a system to his talent. If you happen to be a team that does not defend the Pigeon Forge style well, or you have not played someone like them, they will be a handful.

Jackson North Side takes down Lexington 3-1.

After over four hours and multiple lightning delays (with more storms coming from the south) both teams agreed to make the game final.

 

Hume Fogg and coach Allen are a class act, and their players were, as well.

 

It is not the way I would have scripted things, and I still think there needs to be some type of regulation in place where this decision isn't put on the teams or coaches.

 

There was 22 minutes left in the second half and score was 2-0 CPA.

 

I am sitting here at the field and it is still storming 5 hours after kick off time.
