  1. I made a thread that went nowhere on this. I will be at that game, and though I'm more fond of Baylor than McCallie being a Notre Dame guy...I think this year I'm going to enjoy watching McCallie stomp Baylor. Baylor this year is deeply overtalked, and McCallie is just the team to show everyone who Baylor really is, overrated. Tornado takes another one, how many in a row now? like 12? McCallie 42 Baylor 20
  2. Who is Bradley? haha... Ooltewah Wins after a quarter.
  3. These are two very different teams. Polk County is a power team and Howard is a speed team. Polk once again is coming in strong, and Howard isn't playing like they're for real. Neither of these teams seem to display true mental toughness, so I think whoever finds the edge early will win.
  4. Lookout Valley. Temple fumbled the ball left and right, and just didn't capitlize.
  5. I'll take the talent intensity down a notch and just talk hatred. Whitwell and Lookout Valley. Behold, a battle for 4th Place!
  6. Hixson will win if Todd Windham doesn't call a run up the middle on 3rd and 20. It'll be a coach's game as well as players. Whoever passes it better wins. Hixson 21 White Co. 20
  7. It's a BIG rivalry... Anyone have any thoughts on the biggest rivalry in Chattanooga? Baylor again is hungry for a win, but McCallie just seems to have a better team. Predictions if you dare?
  8. Not only am I saying Red Bank will win the game. Red Bank will win the REGION. Red Bank is currently in my eyes, a State Contender.
  9. Marion County, and I'm not alone here. If Marion can't do it, they'll lose in the postseason. South Pittsburg has a weak schedule, but they can still compete with strong teams. They will NOT go 15-0.
  10. Haha. Well, I suppose I'm pulling for Marion as much as you are, but it'll be a great game. Either team will be making a massive statement with a win.
  11. They'll give South Pitt a game if we're talking about not getting blown away. They might actually score on the pirates, but they'll never keep up.
  12. Temple is way overrated, and I see them taking a plunge toward the end of the season. I watched this team play, and they seem sloppy. That being said, Temple advances to 6-0, but I don't expect this streak to continue.
  13. There is no Team, Temple included, in South Pitt's region that can beat them. The only team on their regular season schedule that can beat them is Marion County. I say South Pittsburg runs away with a third straight blowout/shutout. SP= 62 Grace= 0
  14. It'll be an exciting thing to watch. The biggest mistake any of those teams will make meeting Boyd though is underestimating them. Those teams have more than enough talent to beat Boyd, but I think the Buccaneers will give them a run for their money.
  15. Ok, They're 0-6, a step further down from last year's plunge. However, looking at this team's schedule, they've lost to good teams, and almost beat South Pittsburg. My thoughts...this team will probably finish 2-8 and still make the playoffs, and possibly even win the first round. Thoughts?
  16. Marion County is tough this year. Notre Dame has a lot of momentum going into this game. It's a toss up. I say Notre Dame by 7. GO IRISH!!!
  17. Sequatchie won't come close. Tyner will be celebrating victory at halftime.
  18. Hmm.... This one could go either way...two teams that seem to be overrated... I'm goin with LV, and that pick is biased... GO JACKETS!
  19. I love hearing about Rhea County. I think this team plays hard with a lot of heart, and if they tighten up only slightly, they'll easily slide away from this one. Rhea County would've been my pick to win their region, and I'm not letting up on that. They lost to Ooltewah, but that's it I think. Ooltewah is a strong team...again...and I don't think that one loss is particularly disappointing. Rhea will win by at lleast 10 points.
  20. As a freshmen and partially sophomore, I played for the Jackets. That team went 1-9. I later transferred to Notre Dame, but still kept track of my old team, and saw them suffer at least one 0-10 season. Now last year I got really excited to see them finish with a winning record, and that motivated me to go watch them play this year. I thought maybe their loss to Temple was a sign of a bad second half, but losing to South Pittsburg 0-56 was sad. LV is 2-2 now, but I haven't seen them beat anybody noteworthy. Was last year's 7-3 team a fluke? I wonder, will this team ever stablish themselves as a respected strong football team, or is this little school going to be stuck forever in reaching at most 2nd round playoffs? Thoughts?
  21. Lions Tigers Bears... Oh MY! It almost seems to me, if the mascot is a furry creature that walks on all fours...it just doesn't strike as interesting.
  22. Cocke County Fighting Cocks...
  23. 1. Meigs County 2. Notre Dame 3. Polk County 4. Howard 5. Grundy County 6. East Ridge 7. Sequoayah 8. Tellico 9. McMinn I seriously think the number two spot is up for grabs between ND and Polk. They battled for spot 1 last year, and this year it'll be for spot 2. I think Notre Dame is a stronger team mentally than Polk. Whatever the finish is, I don't see this region accomplishing much in the postseason. MAYBE Meigs will win the first round. I discovered last year (Being a ND alumni and watching all their postseason games) that this region is a weak one.
  24. Silverdale's schedule hasn't proven anything, and I don't think this team has the experience to win. Sequatchie is having an awful season, but they should jump on this for the win. I say Sequatchie in a close win.
