Good luck to your Rebels this week Butchie!

All I have to say about the last 3 posts is: What? Either I've forgotten how to read, which is likely, or y'all left out a word here and there. Tigers win. Richland has more talent than they show I believe. I don't know anything about the coaching situation. Maybe they are just having a down year.

I'd have to choose Marco Daily. Oh!! He wasn't one of the choices. I have to say they were and are both pretty good. Morris torched us once for 270 or so but If I was going to watch someone play in 1 or 2A to see a good running back, second to Marco, I would go to watch Ashabraner. He has really impressed me the times I've seen him.

That is my point and no matter the size of the player. No matter the talent of the player or of the whole team. Just like in college if you can recruit but have no coaching well there you go! There is no excuse for Peabody to be 1-3 everone is upset in Trenton and screaming get a coach! This will go on till something is done! Mt. Pleasant went through the same issue in 2002. Not that the old coach hadn't been a good coach and been succesful in the past but he had refused to change with the times and kids didn't respect him anymore. We changed coaches and the kids started becoming involved in the program again. If the kids stop respecting the coaching staff whether he knows what he is doing or not it's time for the coach to move on and find somewhere he fits in.

If we don't score more than we have, he might as well. I believe he has only attempted 10 PAT's and 2 field goals thru 4 games. Made them all, but he was scoring more than that over 2 games last year. If he's been making all he attempts, I hope he doesn't get an attempt tonight.

Cascade needs to get things going this week. I want them to have a win under thier belt before they face the tigers. Hey 11 give me a shout. My phone blew up so I don't have any numbers from anyone on here except one or two.

I think it will be a good game but being at Lewis Co will give them an advantage. I agree with the Lewis Co coach when he said that their line didn't block anybody all night, they didn't. If they don't get that part worked out it will loose a close game. If they do they will win a close game. Would be nice to play an undefeated Collinwood team in week 2.

He will absolutely prep for this game. I only meant that I'm sure more time will go into the Forrest prep simply because of what is at stake. A victory over JB will always be toward the top of the wish list for Champion fans... Haven't read any of this posts but I have to go with JB. I pulled for you last year cascade11 cause you had me believing ya'll would pull out the win in the playoffs and you let me down. So I got to go with the red devils this year.

.........glad you knew I was just funnin with ya! of course! crap everyone knows about the daily disapointment, and there ways of "spicing up" maury county football, with only using 3 small schools! ha, why didnt spring hill and central get a cup? I believe the Spring Hill and Central winner got a trophy as well. They called it something different though.

Mt. Pleasant has a guy that is 6' 7" wieghs 315 and benches 405. Oh wait a minute. That's right. Ensworth recruited him.

I watched JB play 3 or 4 games this year and was impressed with their never say die attitude. They fought from start to finish. The main thing I think they had going for them is that they didn't get rattled EVER. There wasn't a lot of hollering at each other fussing, that I saw, or anything negative. Also they played as a team, spread the ball around enough and gave it to the man(44) when he needed to get it. Congratulations on your silver ball.

Don't know for sure of course but i heard that Ryan English from MP got Special Teams player of the year.

Good luck to the Devils this week. I'll be pulling for you. Tough luck last week Butchie but JB played very well. Good to see all you guys. Maybe I'll run into you all again on Friday.

top lineman possibly Gilbreath? He is up for state honors in that category. You left out Moore County I'm sure they will have a couple and also Huntland.

Logger I'm glad we didn't make that wager. Like I said though, I hadn't seen Cascade play but I think JB played exceptional that night.

Congratulations to Preston Gilbreath from Mt. Pleasant. Finalist for Lineman. And making the All - Star game. Truely a tough kid. Played 3 quarters of a game after severly breaking his hand, he wouldn't let the trainers look at it til after the game. Required a couple of pins and about 8 or 9 screws to put it back together.

Good luck to both teams. I'm pulling for WC to carry on Region 6 dominance and JB because I've met and have respect for a lot of people and the program. Either way I win.
