Hey, G! Why is Division II Regional Topic closed under pinned topics? I see you changed the name of the topic, but then you closed it. We have some regional games to post tonight! Sure would like to see what the East and West Regions are doing in their regions, too. It would be nice to have it all in one place. I don't know how this works... Can you "re-open?"

Congrats to the MBA team on the much deserved win! BA just did not have it in them... at least on the offensive side. Your kicker is amazing for a high school player. Reminded me of #37 John Vaughn who recently graduated from Auburn. Is it true that he is a sophomore? Wait, if he is just a sophomore, maybe BA can recruit him! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Just kidding.... I was very impressed and he sure made the difference in the game as the MBA offense was only able to take advantage when they had a short field.

Sorry to hear this, EHSParent. I don't know the answer to your question. I would think that Father Ryan would not want to have a ref at their regional playoff game with ties to their school in order to avoid raised questions about their win. I was surprised by the score because I thought that Ensworth was playing well enough to make it to the semi's, but I did not see the game. I did think it would be a little closer. It's a shame.... I know you hate to end your season this way....

Okay, this score surprised me, too. Either Baylor has some injured players and is not playing as well at the end of their season or CCS has improved considerably since the Siegel tournament....

So sorry to hear about the serious injury to your keeper. I'm not too familiar with your district-only what I read on Coach T-but it sounds as though you still have a great shot at making it out of district and possibly regionals. Good luck and wishing your keeper a speedy recovery! What year is she?

I was surprised by BA's defense last night. How did JP II, who has not won a game this season, score so many points against BA? Don't get me wrong, BA whooped up on JP II, but JP II scored some points that they shouldn't have given their record. They were even tied at 7-7 during the first quarter...

Amen.... And to the posters above, why not play the game at Maryville or a neutral site... especially if they are soooo set against traveling?

EHSParent, how about updating Ensworth's scores on Coach T.... BGA, Baylor, etc. need to update their scores/schedules as well. Not all of their schedule is up there and as a result BA is leading the division....

I believe McCallie has the edge this year, particularly with the unhealthy Baylor team. Looking at who they have played so far this year, it looks as though McCallie fared better. I know with rivalries like this one you throw the out the season's record, but I believe McCallie will have a victory once again!

Yes, I believe Siegel and Ooltewah are large schools, but according to the respective school websites, CCS has over 400 in it's high school and BA has over 700 in grades 6-12... about the same when you take out for the middle school. Agreed, Mntman!
