1) Adamsville is a public school who only has the kids from McNairy County to choose from, FC is a private school who can recruit from wherever they want. 2) Football in west Tn is generally not as strong as in the East/Middle. I don't see Adamsville within 3 touchdowns of FC.35-21 FC if Adamsvilles defense is as good as I read on here.

Heard a big man from Mackenzie say the exact same thing in 07, SP had them 14-0 in the first two minutes of the game. This SP team is better than the 07 team. If Perry County makes it past Wayne County this week and does face SP they will see what speed and size is all about.

And their B/U QB is still recouping a bad knee. If JB's defense lets Raquis get around the corner then they will see the true definition of speed. I think overall SP probably has more talent but have to believe JB is better coached. We will see Friday afternoon. Hope they get the field dried out by then. Sounds like Trouserdale and Gordonsville are both sore losers, anybody who knows anything about football can see SM is easily the best 2A team in the state, if the had been played on the mountain vice at the creekbank it would have been a much larger margin of defeat, and if the TSSAA puts sanctions on them it may be a year or two before they see any post-season action anyway.

It will probably be bad Friday night, and Signal will probably make it to Cookeville, not sure if they can handle Trousdale, should be a good game. Next year will be a rude awakening for SM when they move up to 3A and get blown away by the Tornado of Alcoa. Neither schools will have to deal with them anymore.

C H is hands down the main gear of that team, if two other players would ever learn that it's not about them THEN maybe they could play as a team and bring home the big wins until then they will only be mediocre and stall out at the district level. even as they stand now they should end up 2 or 3 in the district.

I don't understand what all the ya ya is about, Vic is not 1/10th of the coach his dad was, anyone can coach talent and win, look at the 00-02 era, didn't they go 0-10 or something like that? Jasper doesn't have the talent or depth as South Pittsburg Academy or whatever they call themselves this year but they have a lot better leadership on the sidelines(2 who have SP diplomas) Dale Pruett was 2-0 against SPA and they were more talented then also. Jasper has had way to many coaches since Colquitt left so it's no wonder there program is in the shape it's in, the question is will they let Boeck stay there long enough to straighten everything up. Jasper tends to eat coaches looking for the reincarnation of KC. I'm thinking there will be too much drama there Friday so I'm gonna go watch Jasper alumni Tim Taylor and the boys in red. SPA may win friday but when they make the trip to Tyner the RAMTRAIN is going to serve them a huge piece of humble pie (and a fish sandwitch). South Pittsburg has a lot of talent but weak coaching and poor discipline. They are 10-0 because the programs in their district are weak. Tyner,a good 2-A team should have beaten them, but their coaching is weaker than SP's. I see Trousdale smashing their glass bubble in a big way. TC-35, SP-20.

Just to help you out there short bus, we aren't the 3rd best team in Marion County, we are second to SPHS who should by all rights be the 2007 TSSAA Class A state champs this year. SP Looked GREAT, Whitwell was better than I expected, but alas Jasper made a weak showing on their home turf, which looked excellent by the way. Why would you EVER go on a 4th and 5 on YOUR OWN 25????? Makes no sence senor. Their weak side is very weak, their strong side ain't too much better, gonna be big scoring games in J-town this year, Sequatchie County will definately have something to settle in October.
