Just in case you didn't read my prior post, I was not bad mouthing Lamar. It was really meant to be a back handed compliment in response to "hohmaster's" post. I consider Lamar to be the premier coach in the Upper Cumberland! Read the last post on page two!

Some coaches whine a little with each loss. Maybe he has to "save it up" since it's so long between his losses.

Hate to burst your bubble but I hadn't heard the score at the time I made the post. I've watched LA play enough this year to realize they were fortunate to just make it to this game.

If what you're saying is correct. UHS split with a lower seeded team (Watertown) than the team LA split with (Smith co). LA and UHS split head to head. UHS should be seeded above LA BECAUSE UHS lost to a lower seeded team! Doesn't it seem a little strange that a loss to a lower ranked team would get you a higher seed!

What about UHS splitting with Watertown and LA sweeping Watertown? Don't guess I understand your logic!

If you want to promote the player of your choice, promote them. Please don't show your south side of a northbound horse by putting a young lady, who plays her heart out, down. Levy has proven she ranks among the best in the state. She proves that every time she's on the floor!

If you think Levy can't play and be the best player on the floor against the best AA teams in the state, You either haven't seen her play or know very little about girls HS basketball!

An addition to the LA coaching staff could make a big difference.

This LA team is improving with every game. Good coaching. More players stepping up each week. Do not underestimate them!

That's the kind of statement that any parent would love to hear about their child regardless of their athletic ability. I also very much agree with you about his on court ability. He will make Clay co. even more proud at the next level!! I've just become a big ISU fan again as I became when that other shy and polite young fellow went there several years ago.

Taking nothing away from your team They are a very good team and deserved the win, but nobody let Key get his points, He earned every one of them. You do your team a disservice when you make such an asinine statement!

Church league? Is that where you go to pray that your team doesn't have to match up to him in a single elimination tournament?

And if a frog had wings. See all-know all-- God's gift to high school BB knowledge=Hyperquick. Of course he wouldn't average 40 against very athletic Memphis East or Mitchell type teams. On the other hand, half or more of the high school players in this state would have a hard time averaging 40 pts. per game if they were left unguarded all season. Indiana State got their second steal. I think we remember the first very well.

I've thought almost all season that Catholic was the best in AA. I've seen nothing in this game to change my mind.

Levy's game has grown as she has grown. Comparing last year to this year is ridiculous. Sure, last years tournament MVP was MVP for a reason. Levy is Miss BB and tourney MVP this year for a reason. She was the best AA had to offer during the 16-17 season and during the state tournament. Probably almost every AA team in the state would love to have her play for them. Too bad LA didn't!

If you're trying to say the difference in free throws was due to Upperman getting the calls, you didn't see the game. I'm not sure any two E.N. players could have shut Levy down without fouling her. We saw today, the reason she was chosen Miss Basketball !
