They are going to pull the concrete section that is displaced when the season is over to determine what is to be done. I anticipate it will be repaired prior to next season and a new stadium on campus will be in the 2-3 year plan. I have sat through just about every one of these meetings and have had conversations with many people involved. In regards to it happening on the watch of the current director, he is doing everything he can, but because the commissioners fighting this dislike him (prior political fallout) he is somewhat handcuffed… and their egos are getting in the way. They are overreaching their authority and trying to do things that are not in their purview at all. Then they are getting on social media and and spreading outright lies. When confronted they disabled comments. It’s quite disgusting actually.

I feel like I have lived there and will be back Monday.

We’re spoiled at Beech. I feel certain each year that we will get better as the year goes. I get mocked for it, but it’s true. We are over .500 for the first time this year and we have a legitimate chance to be a quarters/semi kind of team.

Preseason I thought this would be a battle, but right now I don’t think it’s close. I’ve watched a few games and I just don’t think Springfield matches up with Beech anywhere.

I think he was referencing losing to Franklin and wrapping up the region championship.

I wouldn’t expect it to change the philosophy, but it will change the game and remainder of the season if in fact he is out the rest of the year.

PC can play everyone and it wouldn’t be close. This has boat race written all over it. PC is bigger, stronger, faster, more athletic, and better coached.

If Region 8 sweeps Region 7, I won’t watch another football game this year and will go buy some basketball shirts.

Absolutely. The schedule has Beech prepared for the playoffs, but could hurt them if somehow Hendersonville were to pull this upset off.

This may be accurate actually. If Hendersonville wins it causes a three way tie. I believe the first tie breaker is overall record, which would eliminate Beech. It would then go back to head to head giving Hendersonville the title. Two problems with that… 1) I’m not certain about the tiebreakers. 2) I don’t think there’s any way Hendersonville beats Henry County.
