Saw Coleman play Dyer Co the other night.Really loved watching him play.Man,he is quick.Hard to stop from getting to the basket.And looked to be a pretty good shooter.Noticed a difference when he fouled out.

Don't really know much about PC football but have heard of them the past couple years but your comment about UC losing to West Carrol.Really?I pulled up PC and looks like they started football in 1999 and has won a little over 50 games and lost 80 something.and has played West Carrol 3 times in that span.And lost all 3 times.Once in 2000 by a score of 68-8.Really?Ouch.+1 for Swo

yes they do.tournament time anything can happen.But I'd be willing to bet Lake Co.,BTW or Perry co brings home the gold ball.With maybe Humboldt,Middleton,Westwood having a shot also.Dont know about mt.pleasant or the other teams.Feel like whoever comes from the substate of btw,westwood,lake co etc. will win it all.But think PC will be a challenge if rhodes and the tucker guy stays on the floor.

Does PC have depth if they get in foul trouble.I thought Mercer had a good game as did the Tucker guy.He is a load around the basket.Rhodes has a good stroke but feel like if it isn't dropping,can shoot a team out of a game also as he shoots and forces a lot from the couple games I saw.Can anyone besides Rhodes shoot outside.

Who besides Pc has a chance to go to the state in that district.

Saw both teams in the State last year.Have seen Lake Co a few times this year.Saw the Southside and Union City games.Very impressive.And looked at the schedule.Brutal for Single A.Based on last years PC team and they lost the Mercer kid that did a lot in the game with Middleton.Have to go with the Falcons.

T.T.Flowers has to be the top choice here.Was a top 3 finalist and the only returning finalist.I have seen here several times the past few years when Lake Co plays close by and she is something to watch.Some plays amazes me .I don't think Lake Co would be in the top ten,much less ranked number 1 if she's not playing.

Did they not have a scrimmage.I thought I heard they were scrimmaging Lake Co.If so,how did it go

To:AB23 I don't post a lot.I have went to some Lake Co games as I work in Lake Co.I also go to Dyer Co games where I live in Newbern.Glad you think you know so much about me.I was at Memphis with Dyer Co a couple weeks ago when they played White Station..Watched them at the Boro against Liberty.Watched them play BTW a couple years ago.Watched Dyer Co and Union City .Tied at the half.Want to know some of the old Dyer Co players.Steve Tizai,Willie Reed,Perry Powell.Do you want to know this years starters,John Hudson,Cody Gross,Robert Hubbs,Cedarius Taylto etc.Do you want me to give you my Dyer Co address?Send me a note at the same address and I promise I'll send you a reply.Tendiencies.A lot of people have similiar tendencies.I see a lot of them on coach T.I'm liable to put 1 dot.Two dots.Three dots.You need to stick to Wayne Co.I have sen T.T. I'm not even from Lake Co. but have you seen T.T. Flowers play or are you just a Middle Tenn fan.Dyer Co was only playing a girld game last night so I drove to Union City basically for the boys game but T.T. Flowers is without a doubt the quickest player in Single A ball.She put on a show last night and just about every game I've seen her.Wow.She has moves that many girls can't do.

Haven't seen the other girls but have seen t.t. Flowers several times.She has moves that I haven't seen from a girl and the fastest girl I've seen.She's the best overall I've seen in our area.

I went to the games at Dyersburg and as an outsider,did look like the same official called some cheap calls against Lake Co.The first 3 were knick knack but on the play he called the charge,I have no idea what he was looking at.That call was unreal and was key with Flowers picking up a 4th foul on that play.No matter if they would have had a make up call which I was expecting,still took the best player out of the game.Also he was a key by calling the tech but don't know what the coach may have said.But another noticabe call was him calling 5 seconds on Lake Co.A Central player had the ball late in the game and lost control of the ball and dribbled over her head with no call.And with about 40 seconds left and going after a rebound,looked like the ball was going out of bounds on Central and a Central girl trying to save the ball and looked to be out of bounds but Central got the call and scored.Lake Co looked to have the best team when they had their startes on the floor but I thought overall they did pretty good with the Flowers girl on the bench for most of the game.Thay did struggle at times getting the ball down the floor at times but several of them made some big shots.But still.the coach ended up losing this game.

I have several friends that live in Lake Co and try to watch some of their games when Dyer Co isn't playing a top notch team.I also have a buddy of mine that dates one of the Greenfield players.So I went last night to basically see the girls game but also because was at the Humboldt-Lake Co game and was impressed.I usually come to watch Lake Co play Union City,Humboldt,and the Greenfield girls.Also the Bradford games in the past.I love watching T.T. Flowers play ball.I'll admit.a lot of the calls she gets are already charges before she sometimes makes contact.But she can go.Quick as lightning.Two more of the girls look good,I believe Pearson and the Hart girl.I liked the red haired girl that shot the 3 pointers.Heard she was just a freshman.From an outsider's opinion and seeing Greenfield play several times.Like the other two posters are saying.Greenfield was getting ball to Mullins and she was driving by a couple of those girls every time.I don't know the girls.not sure anout the nimbers even. Just one of them was a short heavy set black girl and the otehr girl wa sleft handed.I like the left hander as far as potential,she made some shots but if you are going to have them on the floor,better hide them out front or Lake Co is going to be in foul trouble all night long because the other girls are having to help out and getting called for a foul.Just my opinion from an outsider.

Thanks GC..Just trying to make sure you're on your toes.I looked in the Jackson Sun and didn't see anything about that game the next day.Even the Choctaw girls won last night.I don't post very ofter,just every now and then.Usually just read.But I do like keeping up with all the area teams.Thanks

I find it odd that for the past several years Gibson Co Pioneer is always the first to post about GC.Always after a game.And I noticed he was on the boys thread about an hour ago posting about the Westview tourney.Hmmm?Did they lose or not play well against a Single A team?Curious minds want to know.And I know we don't have a girls team so don't even come back with that.lol

Union City will win big tonight.

Looks to be a lot of quality teams or at least in past years most of them.Just curious..Who would be considered to be the best teams there ,maybe top 5 or top 10 in no particular order as it's early and teams will probably play a lot of different players.But which teams would you like to see matched up against each other .

I thought it was a fun thread as well.I've seen a lot worse.This site was interesting.I don't see much difference to always referring to the mosquitoe club.A lot of Lake Co people may think that's an insult.

Dyer Co is 2-0 and playing an undefeated Jackson Northside team this week in Newbern.Like to invite everyone out to see two excellent teams play.!

I actually like reading his post.I think he is funny.I wish someone would get on the Dyer Co posts and talk a lot of stuff..lol.Anyway.I don't think Lake Co is going to beat Humboldt and is going to be about 3 or 4 touchdowns.I saw them in the First Look and wasn't too impressed.And by the way,we like the boys from Lake Co that have come to Dyer Co this year.We have a really good team this year and next year will be even better.Only 3 seniors on the whole team.And Wild Falcon.if it does make you feel better at all,I have talked to a couple of the boys that have come and they told me they didn't like the Coach Ross guy either and didn't want to play for him.

I predicted Humboldt to win this game by 4 before this game started. I was 2 points off. After watching Humboldt through 2 games in the District tournaments, they are stepping up BIG TIME, predominately Hubbard and King. If those 2 come to play, Humboldt is going to be very tough to beat! I'm also impressed with the improvement of the big girl from Humboldt, Jerica Morgan. She has improved ALOT over the past few years. It's going to be very interesting to see Humboldt's up-tempo game against Gleason's stall ball game. Great wins by both Humboldt and Gleason tonight. Lake Co. has nothing to be ashamed about! They had a great team and a great year. They will be back next year without a doubt. Is Mariah Mathews a Senior? Wow..You about the only person that thought Humboldt might would win after Lake Co beating them pretty good both times they played.And Lake Co had been playing very good ball from what I was hearing..And you even predicted the score by 4 points..Tha's impressive..Did you predict Humboldt over Gleason also ? And then you go and tell a lot of people that Westview was going to beat Central...Was that before the game or after the game..Did you post those predictions before either game?Just curious..If you did..maybe you should go to Vegas or become a physic ! Is Dyer Co going to beat either White Station or Melrose..What about Northside..And the scores? .. Dude, I think you are on the wrong thread. Westlevee..I'll admit I am in a way..in a way I'm not..If you'll look about what I wrote about Lake Co-Humboldt,you'll see that GC Pioneer daid he told several people that he thought Westview would beat Central..which is the 13AA thread..But I also noticed he said he thought Humboldt would beat Lake Co so I just tied the two in together..WAs wondering if he posted these theories before the games or after he saw the scores..Was just messing with him..llol..And thought if he knew all that..maybe he could make a predecition for me about the Dyer Co and Northview games..lol..Was just messing around with him though..Now back to 13AA..And good luck to both Westview and Gibson Co..!
