Delk can shoot it from anywhere......and is an incredible passer. I think you are going to see an epic battle tonight........I think Dyersburg is simply playing too well and will win by 6-8 points. Forget about Cliff and Delk, they will get theirs, if Dyersburg controls Ross (NS's best player), they win big, if not it will be close.....you know what they say about beating someone three times in a year? It will be the best game of the tournament and the winner could be holding something "golden" in about two weeks.

No one imparticular........my point was is that you always have one or two that everyone talks about.......this year it's Ferris and Leonard. They are the ones generating the biggest argument. Nevertheless, the choices have been made and good luck to all that have been nominated.

I'm afraid the nomination process is very political.......anytime you have folks other than the coaches involved, politics enters into the decision. Overall, they do a pretty good job, but there are always one or two that have no business being nominated.

Not really anything.........just means someone campaigned harder for the freshmen.

Region 7AA asked for and was granted permission to start on Thursday so that they would not have to play the following Wednesday, which has been traditionally a night when folks go to church......

Really the only sure pick is Dyersburg over Covington........the lady trojans are peaking at the right time. The other three games could go either way......I just hate I can't watch them all.......

That's too bad....they played very well last night. My question is for you NSIndian.....who in the world would the MVP have been or coach of the year had been had it not been those two? Seems like a no-brainer to me....

Should be Hudson without question.....if you sit back and look at the total picture, she should be the obvious choice. Andrews will win it next year and Leonard the two years after that......... Congrats to all.........

If you want to play the hottest team in the state, in a do or die game, then yes the strategy was wise......bottom line is that Dyersburg has all but sewn up a trip to the substate. The way they played last night, wouldn't suprise me to see them win it all, they are better than Northside, Upperman and everyone else in AA if Holloway scores 23 points and pulls down double digit rebounds every night. It will take an unbelievable defense effort from someone to beat them......

How about someone posting the district tournament schedules for AA and AAA for the Memphis districts?????

I do believe that Region 7AA will go like this....... Thursday, February 22 - Quarterfinals (satelite locations) Saturday, February 24 - Semifinals (at Gibson County) Tuesday, February 27 - Region Finals (at Gibson County) Been told we were allowed to move it back a day for some reason.....guessin that means the boys finals will be March 1. Haven't seen anything in writing yet so this is just speculation.........

Not this year........Westview is not supposed to win. According to most, should not even get out of the district.......no matter what happens from here on out, they have overachieved. Obion and Dyersburg are still the favorites, I've said it all year and I'm sticking to it......

I don't remember seeing them play in murfreesboro last year? Did they make it?
