Clinch's gym floor is regulation size. It holds about 300 people. Was built in the fifties. A new roof and locker rooms added this year, with a new floor to be added this summer.

I'm thinking Coach Barrett would like nothing more than D-B beating his former boss. Look for the bandits to have a big week.

I didn't see the Cosby game last night, and I haven't seen Unaka play this year, but I do know that Coach Ensor is one of if not the best coach in East Tennessee. If you don't believe me, ask some of his peers. They have won the league something like six years in a row. Now they have a young team, struggle a little, and y'all are all over him. :confused:

Humphrey is playing better than anyone in tournament. I hadn't seen him play until this week. He lives up to all the talk & then some.

They have 2 pretty good players in Dustin Collins and the Burns kid. I heard they beat some pretty good teams this summer. They could be a sleeper in the Watuaga Valley Conference.

There would not be 4 or 5 classes. In fact, in sports such as track where there are only two classes, every one in Division 1 would be in one class.

Football travels on Friday nights. No school on Saturday. Basketball would have to travel and be out late on a lot of school nights (Tuesdays). Plus it would lead to smaller districts, or the elimination of districts all together. Football is broken up into regions. Fewer conference games would lead to problems filling out a full schedule.

Auburn has been up to look at Jacob McMillan as a defensive player. This was a great game to watch. Well worth the price of admission.

The game is for sure on Thursday night. I talked to Volunteer's coach on Monday, and that is what he said. The Kingsport Times also has it listed as Thursday. They are playing Thursday to avoid a conflict with the Busch race in Bristol on Friday night.
