I admit that this score surprised me when I saw it. Just feeds the rivalry. Beginning of the year,I thought y’all would be playing in Chatt. Really good year one for Rang. I expect Oak Ridge to continue to be in the mix. I was talking to some other guys and we all agree that a Stroup led Gallatin and a Rang led Oak Ridge would be a great matchup in a few years. Maybe it can happen.

Watson and Buck were pretty good so I know how it works. Heard way too many stories my friend.

I mean if you are successful and are good with NPA, they will help direct kids to those schools. Happens a lot. This isn’t 30 years ago, the rich stay rich when you can get quality players to move in. It’s all about having those contacts.

Creasy, in my opinion, is the best coach in the state. He won big at Trousdale and he has won big at Oakland. He just does not lose much at all. He could go next level if he wanted in my opinion. Very few schools have beaten him since he has been at Oakland and very few schools will as long as he is there. Like I said earlier, next year they will be extremely tough to beat. If you’re gonna get them, then it needs to be this year.

You could tweak the current system but really it is pretty fair seeing how there are too many classifications in Tn.

The two stud running backs haven’t though. NPA has definitely helped Creasy build that powerhouse back. Oakland has a stout program and good facilities. That indoor practice facility is as nice as any that you will find around here. The crowd size did look down but the success of the team hasn’t wavered much. When Creasy leaves they will struggle to keep status quo and that is only because the bar has been set extremely high.

I agree. Really excited for what is ahead. Having him here for a full off season I feel will show dividends for next year. Lots of broke records this year and I think a lot more are coming. It just takes time but after 3 losing seasons I will take 7-4 and a positive outlook.

Congratulations to Oakland. Gallatin played tough until right before the half when it all fell apart. Morris is the real deal and one heck of a runner. Gallatin had no answer. Oakland did not do anything fancy and it just shows how much we lack to get to that level. Gallatin is going to concentrate in the weightroom and hope to beef up our boys some before next season. Overall very happy with the direction of the program under Stroup. We grew up some this year and I think we make even more strides this next season. It’s a process.

After much needless debate and hours of stalling, the $15.8 million finally passes to be transferred to the school board. Glad for the kids and fans of these schools that had to endure this just to get the needed repairs done.
