  2. That will be an interesting day. -JohnC
  3. Big game. . .I don't know about this one. This is probably the only prediction I had to think about. Still though, go Riverdale. -JohnC
  4. I cannot understand why you would worry about Lebanon and Mt. Juliet. I feel Lebanon kills Mt. Juliet very quickly, and takes that momentum into next week. -JohnC
  5. I've been watching and waiting for something to merit a response from me. -JohnC
  6. Oakland is on tv this week aren't they? -JohnC
  7. Tell em Region4. . . -JohnC
  8. Lincoln County over Oakland Riverdale close over Dickson County Smyrna over Brentwood Gallatin over Blackman Knox Central over Siegel Lebanon over Mt. Juliet LaVergne over Ravenwood Hillsboro over Antioch MBA over Father Ryan Go Region 4, good luck to you. While some of our teams, **cough, LaVergne and Lebanon** took the easy road out for one of their non-region games. -JohnC
  9. No one's giving up just yet, there's still a lot of football left. . .come on now, you know Blackman fans better than that. -JohnC
  10. Dont' get me started on Riverdale and recruiting. . . -JohnC
  11. I think it may be a little more open, Gallatin winning by multiple scores. -JohnC
  12. I'm number 3!!!!! -JohnC
  13. BlazeP was just a little frustrated on Friday, as were we all. I'm sure he didn't mean everything he said. I still think though, that with Emerson starting you have a multi-pronged offense, and are more likely to win. -JohnC
  14. I honestly have no problems with the moderators, I feel they do a great job. -JohnC
  15. My question for Slim topic disappeared somewhere into the depths of CoachT, so I'm going to ask again, of Slim, why Bret is not starting. -JohnC
  16. If Blackman plays like they did last Friday, I'm going to have to say Gallatin way over Blackman. Gallatin 35 Blackman 3 -JohnC
  17. The thing that we're all missing. . .At least I did until they came to our house on Friday night, is that Smyrna is not centered on Wolke. They do have a running game. Hard running, with the play action pass should beat the Bruins. I don't know by how much, but I'm pretty sure it'll be close. -JohnC
  18. I'll be rooting for Riverdale, but I expect Dickson to give them a fight. -JohnC
  19. Let me say something about the Boro teams: We may fight and fume when it comes to playing each other, but we stick together in non-region play. You can be darn right in assuming that every single person in Murfreesboro is going to want Oakland to whoop Lincoln County. Now will they is the question, and I really don't think so. But that won't stop me from rooting for them anyway. -JohnC
  20. If Smyrna plays anything like they did last night, Lord help the Bruins. . . -JohnC
  21. I am defenitly one of the Blackman faithful. I am always on here, supporting my team, regardless of their play, or lack thereof. Now, I feel, is the time for some answers from some of those a little closer to the program, ie. . .I talk to students, but students are not going to yeild me the results I want. Slim. . .and anyone else who has a significant insight into the very inside of the program, I have questions for you. 1) Why use the same play the entire game, if it hasn't worked the other ten million times it has been used? 2) Our offensive line is good at pass protection, as we saw last night in the three or four passes that Emerson got to throw; Why not use them for that purpose? 3) We have a multi-pronged approach to the game with Emerson: He can throw and Kenny can run. When he does throw, it is right on target, regardless of whether or not the receiver catches it, this is a good thing. When Dawson throws, it is either underthrown or intercepted! 4) What is the real reason Emerson is not starting? These questions need to be answered, in my opinion, because the team is obviously not playing as a team right now. -JohnC
  22. From my view point, I was at the ten yard line, around where he caught the ball, he did catch the ball, but did not maintain control as he hit the ground. The ball wobbled and touched the ground for a very brief instant, but that instant was enough to call it incomplete. Had he caught the ball, it would have been an amazing catch to say the least. -JohnC
  23. You should have dropped by to say hey GWave, I would have liked to have met you. As for our band, yes they're good. -JohnC
  24. That was not a roughing the passer. I've seen my 5 year old brother hit people harder than that. The refs were a littel flag happy tonight. -JohnC
