Also online today, are the area statistical leaders, so long on to see where your players rank. If you do not see, your team then they did not submit their stats. So please ask them to send them in this weekend so they can be put in next Friday.

I was only able to see the three championship games today. But I thought that the officials did an outstanding job. Especially the three for the Knox Catholic/CAK game. These officials did a suberb job and I wish that we had more officials like the 9 that called the games today. You allowed this to be an excellent day of soccer. And the game swere decided on the field and their where no big complaints. And yes the red was the right call. You can not go studs up. It was the secnond time he had done that in the game.

Great job on covering as many games as possible during this Spring Fling. West Tennessee (not including Memphs) had 5 baseball teams, 4 softball teams, 2 soccer teams, 2 tennis teams, plus doubles and singles in tennis, and track and field competitors. Great job!

The problem that the Jackson Sun has is the uncooperation of the coaches and athletic directors. The Jackson Sun at the beginning of every season send out questionairres to all the school across West Tennessee to get info on the team. Best players, good players that graduated, record last year and predctio on how they will finish and then they only get about 60% back. How can they cover schools with no info. There are coache who wont call in scores. Jackson Sun can not be at every game. During the recent spring sport districft tournaments there were many days with rainouts and no one called. Except a few like the Lexington and South Side district. They should not have to be calling coaches at 9:30 at night trying to figure out what is going on whether game swere played or what the new schedule is. The Jackson Sun needs help from coaches, athletic directors, and score keepers to call in scores whether they win or lose so that they can figure out who the best teams are and best players. IF they have not covered a certain signing it is because the coach or parents did not call it in. They have to know about signings to be at the school to cover them. Help them out a little and maybe there would be better coverage.

I have seen both teams play this season. USJ is really good on set pieces. So CSAS needs to refrain from fouling any where near the box because Jon Taylor is awesome at free kicks. THe 40 yarder he hit against Sheffield in sectionals was awesome. I believe that CSAS is a young team, and I thought that the goalie for CSAS was ok. The game I was at he was on the verge of stepping out of the box eac htime he kicked it. I think that the final score fo this game will be 1-0, and I thik that USJ will score off of a set piece. All 5 goals in their last 2 matches have come off of set pieces 2 PK and 3 free kicks.

3-pointers do not win ball games. Cosby relies heavily on the 3. Humboldt can slash to the basket and use their quickness and Cosby can do nothing.

I do not know what game you are watching but I am there and the refs are just fine to me. Sorry the East is getting out-classed by the West. Your broadcast stinks too. The West is the Best.

I hate that you think that the coverage by the Jackson Sun has gotten worse, but the coverage has not been this good since the 1980s. No newspaper in the entire state had the kind of coverage that the Jackson Sun had. With the internet and newspaper, the coverage was top notch. I thought that the coverage by Dan Morris was not that great. Who are you for? You need to think before you speak becaus eyou just sound like an idiot.

I was at the Madison game yesterday. I was sitting right beside the radio guys from 101.5 and the officiating was horrible. When the Jackson Sun is even making comments in the paper about the terrible officiating then there is a problem. The offciaiting overall at this tournament was been way below par. I have seen some well officiated games, but Madison was one of the worst. THe radio guy actually slammed his pen on the table and it flipped onto the court. But officiating in West Tennessee is not going to get better so we had better just stink it up and get used to it.l

Yeah it was 6 on 5 for most of the game. North Side was given no calls the enitre game. Especially that phantom 3 point foul with 9 sec left in OT. There was no foul there, she did not even touch her

Called "All of the Fouls" Yeah if they would have called all of the fouls Jana Roney would have been out of the game in the 3rd quarter. The referees were horrible last night. The ladt ref and the short guy were o.k., but that blonde guy with the big head was absolutle horrible. Reedy was not fouled on that 3 pointer at the end of the game. Justice was served though since she missed one of the free throws. Ross walked right past her and no contact was made. I have never missed so many missed walking calls either. Both teams, there were a ton. Roney walked half the time she went to the basket. Good luck to Obion Central though in Substate. Let's have all West Tennessee teams in the State. And remember the staus on NS this year was that this was "a rebuilding year and this team should have around a .500 record." Yeah right, they proved all the critics wrong. Let's go win the State girls.

That was not a real good JCM team. They a ok but nothing special. Yes, Sycamore is a real good team. North Side is not a powerhouse this year. They lost 8 players, yes I said 8 players off of last year's state tournament team. North Side is decent this year, but all of the players on this team got little playing time. I think that the fact that North Side is 4-5 right now says alot about the players. I would love to see any team take away its top 8 players and still be only one game under .500 without playing any A teams, but playing AAA Cordova and JCM, AA Haywood and South Side and Liberty.

Where is the Sports Plus jamboree in Jackson? What time does it start? Who plays who?

Mason Peters is an awesome sophomore. He is a great controling midfielder.

The score was 1-0 with Marco Banglea (SP?) scoring the goal. Collin Perry assisted on the goal. Ronaldo missed a penalty kick. The refs missed a hand ball in the box and tackle in the box right at the end.

What do you against North Side. Richard and Reginald performed well in everygame this year except for in the tournament. You can not say that a player will never have an off night. Reginald and Richard are not about hype, but pure preformance. And Terry Hill is not a racist person at all. I have worked under him for 4 years now, and I am a white person, and Coach HIll is an alaround great christian person. Your comment about him being a racist is totally out of line. BUt any way you need to deal with what ever problem you have against North Side. North Side was a great team and that is why they made it to the state championship. Did your #1 3 point shooter go to state? Not even in Single A?

What does everyone think about this semifinal matchup. Neither team won convincingly yesterday. North Side had an off night shooting. How do you think these two teams will match up?

I predict Dyersburg to beat Greenville. I want to have an all west final North Side vs. Dyersburg. For a fifth time to break up the 2-2 tie we have right now Dyersburg was favored to beat Ridgeway, but North Side was not favored to beat Craigmont. Lets go Trojans and Indians!!!

North Side had the lead the entire game except maybe 4-2. Sha had 30 and Amber Penn had 19. North Side was way too fast for Craigmont. Congrats to the Lady Indians for making it to state 2 years in row.

Dyersburg fans have no sense anyway. Dyersburg and North Side are evenly matched girls teams, and to shout overrat3ed is wrong. North Side won each of the first two games by only 2 points, so last night was not a big upset. Dyersburg fans have no concept of the game, and show up just to yell at the opposing team. These two teams might meet agin in the Region championship. Westview can say anything either, they did not win their district championship.

I say North Side by about 15 because Richard will moast likely not play at all. And we have a few guys getting over the flu.
