  1. Both very good players and both sign with very good D1 programs. Congrats!
  2. Both very good players. Both sign with very good programs. Congrats to both!
  3. Anbody know if Fagan's summer teammate Sarah Beth Roberts has committed anywhere yet? I know she has been a highly regarded player.
  4. Kion Williams at Red Bank is very good. Not many people know about him because he sat out last year after transferring from North Carolina. He was impressive in Camps this summer. He is the real deal.
  5. UTC (University of Tennessee at Chattanooga) has a high schoolers camp in January. They also have a younger kids camp between Christmas and New Years. One of the assistants is usually the contact person for this.
  6. Remember ASA has already done it at 18under and 18Gold.
  7. Kim, you have had good points but you blew it with the "male coach being the problem cause all they want is a trophy". That was an idiotic statement. You need to go back to being a lawyer. That is where you can make stupid statements like that one and get away with it.
  8. Indian, look at their roster. You are WAY OFF on this one. They have a very high number of players from the Chattanooga Area. Baker (East Ridge), Eason (Boyd Buchanon), Kelley (Boyd Buchanon), Martin (Ringgold), Stiles (Soddy Daisy), Flores (L-FO), Holloway (GPS), and Holloway (Gordon Lee). That is eight from the area. Six of them start, in softball you start nine or ten, so that is over half of their starters that are locals. I believe you would be hard pressed to find many universities with that kind of "local ratio".

    Speed

Actually, I heard she had the 2nd fastest time at the UTC camp. A kid from Georgia had the fastest. Cheyenne definately posseses impressive speed. I would think she will be a tremendous assest to the Coffee County team (I beleive that is where she plays). By the way, opinions on this site are far from unbiased (98% of the time).
  10. Tennessee Xplosion won received the berth in 16-under. They were alive in the winners bracket when the rain came on Sunday.
  11. Speaking of Beech. Who do Kat Banks, Stacia Lee, and Ginny Carroll play for in Summer (travel) Ball ??
  12. The original "Black and Red" Anderson was the best of all the Andersons. Propably the "hottest" bat ever. The Anderson Bat Company people where giving you a sales line. There is no doubt a significant difference in the bats.
  13. Red Bank had a TD called back on a hold call completely on the other side of the field. Red Bank also picked up a fumble that they scored on, however the Ref prematurely blew the whistle before the ball carrier was down. The format of the scrimmage was 10 plays each. So, even if you did not get a first down you got more plays so you never know how it would have been in normal game type situations. Ooltewah is definately deeper than Red Bank. When it was "2's" on "2"s" this sshowed. Both teams are very good. Should be good representation from the Chattanooga area in 4A and 5A.
  14. What is the schedule? What time does it start?
  15. You have your opinion and that is ok. But, I struggle with understanding how "not as many people there that could be" equals "no one there" or "not many there". I just don't understand the logic. Have no proplem with you expressing your opinion, just don't understand the logic.
  16. It will be. It not is not much of a secret around the Bradley County area that changes are going to be made in that program.
  17. "Hammontree's fingerprints" ?????????????? He coached at Rhea Co. and has no connection that I know of to Red Bank. RB's head coach came from Loudon and their offensive Coordinator came from Hixson and Notre Dame High School. Please explain your reasoning, thanks.
  18. Beleive me, most folks in Chattanooga do not feel the same way the westlerbk feels. We all know that Maryville is the top dog (obviously) and we know that the number 2 seed out of that region is always a very, very good football team (West earned that his year). Red Bank and Rhea Co. relish the opportunity to play these teams. Comparative scores mean nothing. Looking ahead (b/c i am just a fan), I think a Maryville, Red Bank game could be a great matchup with Maryville obviously being the favorite. That would be a game I would encourage everyone to get out and watch. Now, that being said it is not Red Bank will have its hands full with West.
  19. DO NOT get caught up in how many stars a player is.......if you've been around a while you would see that AFTER a 2-star player commits to a "big-time" SEC school he magically jumps to a 3-star or 4-star player.....funny how that works Hall is not a "commitment" b/c he is no where close to qualifying and will not qualify. He is "good" enough to play at a SEC school but will not right away b/c of grades
  20. Rico Council- Howard Tracy Sims- Red Bank Sydney Tarver- Baylor TayTay Caldwell- Red Bank Dozier - McCallie
  21. BJ Coleman- McCallie Kevin Cooper- Baylor TayTay Caldwell- Red Bank Bradford- McCallie Marshall- Ooltewah Tim Benford- Red Bank Skogen- Temple Scoggins- Cleveland Ejay Ward- Brainerd Jeremy Woods- Ooltewah
  22. Because Hixson has shown they can be beat.....look at the Rhea Co. and Cleveland games....they were beat badly in each one. And, Brainerd can be tough when they are on and play up to their potential. I'm not saying they will win but I am answering your question of why we are saying it is possible.
