Hey Gatling - sounds like a case of jealousy. I can understand that you are feeling like the Cinderella wannabe, but so far as private schools go, I don't think at this time that CBHS can hold a candle to Ryan, Baylor or McCallie. But hey, as the saying goes on some of the t-shirts I've seen "if you believe, you can achieve". Maybe that is true. We will see. We will also see you next weekend at Kenwood. Bring it on!

Hey - I am ready to see some good wrestling next weekend at Kenwood. Sounds like a pretty good line-up. I've seen a lot of talk about CBHS - let's just see what West TN has. I realize that all this talk is often a lot of hype or pride put on the line so, I can't wait to see how the words match up with the results! Bring it on!!!

You know - checking with the TSSAA website for member schools, I don't see a Severna High listed. Maybe you don't know how to spell your own ficticious school's name?

With the Tennessee Best Weekly coming out and many school's preseason wrestling matches starting up, this gets me itching to go. The season just isn't long enough.

You are right KKW, it would be a nice thing if all schools could have a Mr. Jones. He helped out both Bradley & Cleveland, which is great. Something like that can only help further the interest in the sport of wrestling. It would be nice if we could get someone like that in Mid. TN. Anyone out there willing to invest in the future?!

Hey - I agree with you about Jeff Jordan. I think he is number one in character and talent. I truly hated to see someone so talented retire. The new coach at Clarksville high has done a pretty good job. You are right about Masters, he knows how to get the best out of his boys too. Badon, well, I look for him to regroup and surprise us all this year, or next.

Hey RockMan - I agree with you about Overton & Franklin, but I am not too sure about Brentwood. How about substituting Clarksville in that lineup and I think you will have a pretty good shot at some of the best teams in Mid. TN.

Hey - I agree - the heavyweights will really be something to see. I was at the state tournament last year and there was some super wrestling going on in all weight classes. You have four placers returning this year: Crosby, Brugal, Pennington and Anderson. How do you think that will match up? Here in Middle TN we don't hear much about Brugal, Crosby & Anderson. Wish someone could shed some light on how they are coming along right now.

Hey - I really do wish that two teams from each region could go to state. I mean it is such a fine line sometimes between first and second. they take the top 4 in individuals, I just wish they would take the top two. Now that would be something to see. JUST WRESTLE!

Hey, you are right Bacon, I think Clarksville's Slamfest will be a good one to go to. I have already marked that one on my calendar. It will be interesting to see if Soddy does show up. You are also right about Kenwood. I've never known them to not have a great team since they started, I expect one this year also. I love a good wrestling match, so bring it on, JUST WRESTLE!

Hey KKW - the message was meant to wish you well, not to pass on what you consider to be a rumor started by anyone. I would think the CHS coach has no reason to do anything like that and really think someone should not be accused unfairly. So what if Jordan did come to your school? What's wrong with competition? The whole intent of the post was to wish you well, not to start something.

Hey KKW - rumor has it that Coach Jeff Jordan (former coach of Clarksville High) is helping your team out. Good for you and your team!! Glad to see that competition is alive and well in Region 7. Good Luck!
