I think this is gonna be about right. Except Mnotgomery central will not bet in and I think Unicoi co wins and gets in. This will take a team out of Quad 3, unicoi will bump Knox Cath to quad 2 and either Marshall or Giles will be bumped to quad 3. This is the crazy thing. If my calculations are correct. There is no way for Claiborne to get in. If they beat Grainger, Chucky Doak will get 2nd place in region, and then Grainger will have the 1st tie breaker over Claiborne. Head to Head means nothing. Will be bad if a team beats a teamin week 10 to have same record but the losing team get in and winner go home. BTW who you guys think goes west Marshall or Giles

Churches can do whatever they want with their money tssaa cant tell a church not to give a student money. Once the money belongs to the student they can then use it however they want. The tssaa counts on the private schools to abide by the spirit of this law but they dont and then they plead ignorance saying they had no clue where the money came from all they know if the student is paying it. This will never be able to be controlled by TSSAA. 2 years ago the schools that are supposed to run the TSSAA voted 67% to 33% to split public and private schools in athletic competition. The board of controls went against this and voted not to. More privates want a total split than you think but ones in power dont so here we are.

Rules say they can not work off tuition. Money for the work has to be paid and taxes taken out then the money can be used for whatever the person wants to use it for. Schools get around this be just paying the student more for the job to cover up the taxes. I know for a fact that several d 1 private schools do this and also have players that recieve scholarships from churches. Some churches give money to students to attend private schools. According to the rules this is illegal. However, there is a loop hole here bc churches can give money to whoever they want for "other" reasons and once money is in possession of student athlete it can be spent anyway they want. There is no way that the TSSAA can govern this. Its unconstitutional to try and tell organizations how they spend their money. They are counting on the private schools to abide by the spirit of the rule and not do this which isnt happening and wont happen. Columbia is given many advantages over the other schools in the county. Right or wrong it happens. Some people say this is ok bc they are the biggest school. I know for fact they are given 3 more supplement positions than any other school in the county, and they were aloud to keep an in school athletic period while the other county schools were told they had to drop it. Again some may think this is the right way to do thing, idk, but a difference is definitely made.

Why would the 2 private school classes not be split evenly into 2 even classes like the public schools are. I dont see it making sense to have 9 schools in the AA division and 21 in the A division... why not 15 and 15... I understand that the other sports influence this also ... however, there are around 50 Division 2 schools ... why not make it 25 and 25.. Is this not the obvious answer????

Their opponents have a combined 2 losses... One of the loses is to trousdale by jackson county and the other is to knox webb by zion... they have played a pretty tough schedule.

I believe the 2A quads are gonna stay like they came out this week with 2 exceptions. Peabody will win and get in. They will be in QUAD 4 and bump Adamsville to QUAD 3. This will push Cascade to QUAD 2 and knock Silverdale out. The other change will be, Houston Co. will win and take Lorettos place in QUAD 3. The seedings will depend on alot of things....LOL

At cardsfan.... Why do u say trinity wont get in??? I think They will beat bruceton and scotta hill. That will give them 4 wins and They have tiebreaker over other 4 win teams.

Here is my 2 cents and I have looked at it til in seeing double lol... Quad 1 will be: Hampton Onieda Northgreene Oliversprings rockwood cosby Quad 4 will be: Humbolt westwood booker t dresden mckenzie peabody Quad 2 and 3 will be will wiggle room. Here are the team I think will get in and why and ill give 2 possiblilities: Trousdale boyd friendship watertown jax co cascade forrest adamsville mt pleasant riverside the other 2 spots could go to either: silverdale white house hert houston co loretto trinity chr. My money is on houston co/white house depending on if houston wins out which I think they will and trinity chr. now for the QUADS Adamsville riverside mt pleasant forrest trinity chr will be in quad 3 for sure trousdale boyd friendship watertown jax co will be in quad 2 for sure if houston co gets in cascade will go to quad 2 and be the 3 seed houston will go to quad 3 and be the 5 seed if white house hert gets in I think it could be the same with them being 5 seed in quad 3 but if not cascade will come back to quad 3 and be 2 seed and white house will go to quad 2 and be 6 seed. LOL man im tired LOL!!! That is who would have the tie breakers barring major upsets

CB10 you have got to be kidding???? Now I'm not taking anything away from Stockstill, He is a great really good athlete that has a chance to play small college football. I think he might play LB or SS or maybe even FB somewhere... BUT to say he is a beeter QB than Tucker or Harlan?????????? you have got to be out of your mind. These 2 kids are the kind that dominate regions by their self. Again I dont wanna turn this into bashing anyone because I think a lot of Stockstill and think he will play at the next level. However, lets look at his stats versus the top 4 teams in that region (I looked it up on Tennessean sports). Against Wayne, Perry, MP, Cwood... he was 40 of 75 for 418 with 0 td's and 6 ints through the air and had 62 carries for 334 yds. If you add the other 3 playoff teams they played into that his totals were 82-172 891 yds 3 tds 10 ints 101 carries for 467 yds. That is a completion percentage under 50% and td to int ratio that isnt good. Ill let you look up Tucker and Harlan numbers against playoff teams. Trust me they are a little better. Again not bashing him at all he will play at next next somewhere.

Ditka, What is your email. Stockstill is pretty good, but 2 other QB's just in this region are better. Tucker and Harlan both are serious prospects. This region was loaded this year with prospect and I believe will be next year. You got younger Rice, Harris, Rhodes, Grimes, Montgomery. Tough region!

Here is why guess and why: Quad 1: 1 Hampton 4 Unaka 5 Oliver Springs 3 Rockwood 6 Boyd Buchanan 2 Wartburg Quad 2: 1 Trousdale 4 Cascade 5 Jackson Co 3 FCS 6 Marion Co 2 Signal Mtn Quad 3: 1 Riverside 4 WHH 5 TCS 3 MP 6 Adamsville 2 Forrest Quad 4: 1 Mckenzie 4 Peabody 5 Westwood 3 Humbolt 6 Douglas 2 Dresden Now for the explaination: There is really nothing else you can do with Quad 1, Quad 2 could be tweaked but this senerio sticks with traditional geographic lines from the old playoff system. Trousdale and FCS has been going to Chatt. for years bc geogr it makes sense. Now here is my change. Quad 3 differs from present projections bc I believe TCS and adamsville coming east and Mckenzie and Dresden going west makes more sense geographically. adamsville and TCS are closer to the eastern middle teams than dresden and mckenzie. This isnt what I think should happen but according to TSSAA rules saying geogr will be only factor this is what I think will happen. The other factor that I just realized is the seeding process. NO PRIORITY will be given to region winners or automatic qualifiers for seeding, seeding will be done strictly by the playoffs standings. Again I dont agree with this (I mean why have districts and regions if they dont mean anything), but this is my take on what will happen by the guidelines in place.

The TSSAA maps do not include Douglas and Westwood from Memphis. They are 100% in the playoffs already. They have automatically qualified by finishing in the top 2 in their district/region. These 2 will shift everyone east. Where the gerrymandering comes in is in the middle of the state. You have WH-Hert, Friendship, Trousdale, Mt Pleasant, Forrest, Cascade, and possibly Watertown. the T$$AA can draw these to make most money and say geography was used. We have 8 (possibly 9, depending on Peabody) teams in the far west. 6 of these will make up one quad. The other 2 (or 3) will be grouped with 3 or 4 of the middle ones. The other middle ones will go to either Chattanooga or with the schools just west of Knoxville. I guess what Im saying is the T$$AA could justify a million different possibilities geographically, it will ultimately boil down to them trying to project what combo creates biggest payday.

If the TSSAA does what the rules say, seeding and being the better team or stacking a quad will not have any affect on the placing of teams in said quads. It stats that teams will be places in quads based "solely" on geographic lines.

Regions wont matter when drawing up playoffs. Lawrence Co. and Columbia are in same region and last year they were place on opposite side of the bracket columbia went east and lawrence co went west.

I am not affiliated with program in anyway, however I do coach and here are my 2 cents. They are successful, because a culture has been conditioned in the town. When a baby boy is born, he immediately is "going to be a YellowJacket". People are given things in the community because they played football. You are not identified as a family or by what job you have, you are know by what year you graduated and do you have a ring. In all places athletes have a "status" in thier respective schools, but in places like this you can get a job later in life just because of your status on the field. I think its great, so I'm complimenting not condemning. Example, I went to college with a guy that said it was nothing for him to get 50-100 dollars from fans after having a good game on Friday nights from fans congratulating him after games. This doesnt happen in most places but some places, where a culture has been established it does and will continue.

This is fact if coaches leaving and sharing secrets caused teams to lose everyone in the NFL would lose because coaches change jobs constantly.
