Once again Metro has been down, but it looks like the best football is being played off of Exit 62 on I-24. Defending District 12 AAA champ Antioch and the little brother down the street, Cane Ridge, both only have one loss on the season. If CR can survive Hillwood, they will make their 1st playoff apperance in school history. Antioch must navigate Hunters Lane, and then Overton, and what we are looking at is a showdown in Antioch for the district title. IMO, and it is my opinion, Cane Ridge is having a great season, but will not defeat Da Bears. I have seen both play, and Antioch will be a little to physical for the Ravens. CR is a finesse team, and no mistaken, what they are doing is working. But as we know in a rivalry game, emotions and bragging rights will be flying. I think Antioch comes into the "Nest" and wears down a pretty good CR team. Another difference in the game will also be the coaching. Parks is doing a good job, but who wouldn't with the talent that has been at CR. We just see that Mr. Abner was not that good of a coach(I said what a lot of you were scared to say). Woodward is one of the best game planners, and he will have one heck of a game plan in store for the Ravens. Looking forward to this showdown on October 26. Hopefully both will stay on the path to it.
