If this current trend that we are on continues I agree 100%. This Freshman/Soph class is the best that we have seen since 1995. And they dominated those that they played in this region in Jr High, but we don’t need any disruption.

Community is not very good, but not because of the lack of players. Poor coaching continues to be the theme there. I will say that LC is getting better each week. The Sophomore QB has thrown for nearly 700 yds while completing 60% of his passes. LC is still a average team at this point who’s 3 wins are against poor teams.

I really thought this would be closer. I’m not sure what the last 2 weeks means for Forrest season.

The Mt Pleasant- Loretto game winner will be in the catbird set in the region. I wish that was a Thursday game.

Let me start by saying that I felt Wayne county was out matched talent wise. On defense they crowded the LOS to minimize Porter’s long runs and played soft coverage in the secondary forcing underneath passes. This resulted in two interceptions, the last one sealing the victory. It seemed obvious that WC plan was to keep Loretto’s offense off the field with a grind it out approach. You could see this in the second half when Loretto would have a three technique on the weak side WC would run through A gap to that side. They would have a 1or 2 technique on the strong side allowing them to run through B gap on that side. All quick hitters that forced the LBer to make a one on one tackle that resulted in a 4 or 5 yd gain. Just my take on a small part of the game plan.

Loretto definitely played uninspired football in their loss to WC. Porter has to be the best RB in the region. WC deserves respect for taking care of business. Coach Crews had a great game plan to beat a faster Loretto team.

Harpeth is not a to 20 team, much less a top 10 team.

They are not very good.

Riverside is a very solid team with all the components to win big. Very impressed with the river rats.

Forrest 28-14

I thought LC looked pretty good against Creekwood tonight. They played two quarters that ended in a no score tie.

LC has looked very good in the first 2 scrimmage with Harpeth and Jackson NS.

Truth is for many years Page use to be on the schedule and was dominated by LC

LC will be competitive with our new coach at the helm. The players have bought into the new system. Players to watch are Sophomore, and 2nd yr starter, QB Bryson McDonald and Sr WR Dyer Barnes.
