I would like to see a Jefferson Co./TN High match up......

I have been lucky enough to see both teams play this year. When I was dragged by my "ex" to watch TN High they were a little slow to get out the gate. If that happens against Maryville then they could fall behind too much in the early part of the game to even have a chance for a come-back, but if TN High plays like they did in the 2nd half on the game I watched then Maryville could be watching the state championship from their couch this year. Good luck to both teams and I'll be there Friday expecting an exciting game.

Chris Shiverdecker of Jefferson County is only going to be a junior this year but look for him his senior year to sign with a big time D1 school. The kid has all the talent in the world to do big things. He had 1726 yards on the ground and 21 TD's this year as a sophomore.

Jefferson County's Chris Shiverdecker rushed for 1,726 yards as a sophmore this year. Shiverdecker is only going to get stronger and faster as time goes on. So look for him to go from "unstoppable" to "untouchable" (I see him being all-state for the next two years.)

I was proud of my boy Jeff Jennings Jr. and his game against UT. I really thought he should of have 3 touchdowns that game but they threw to the tight-end down on the goal line for a score. It was a nice play call but i would have rather seen Jeff run it in for 6. I think Vandys running game is going to be hard to stop here in the next couple years and its going to be because of two guys from the "Knoxville area" that UT should have picked up. Jeff Jennings and Cassen Jackson-Garrison are going to be hard to stop. We could be hearing those names in a couple years like we hear the duo of Ronnie Brown and Carnell Williams now. Two questions: 1) Why is it that UT don't ever try to pick up the talent from around here? (Jennings, Jackson-Garrison, and Carl Stewart just to name a few) 2) Do you think that any of those backs will make it to the NFL?

Keep the name "McFall" in you head from Jefferson Middle. He was a 8th grader this year and he will do big things at JCHS....I say he should be a 3 year starter at QB.

Jason "Baby-J" Deering - Jefferson County You may not know this name but by the end of this year you will. This kid has grew up over the summer....not only in size but skill too.

Somebody tell me whats going on with the Jeff Co game

Thats is a good moto to live by when you don't have your own football field. Sorry I had to throw that in......you left yourself wide open for that one.

Chris Shiverdecker from Jefferson County. He is one to watch for. His first start this year, he picked up 187 on the ground and 77 through the air. This kid is going to do big things.

Scooter Houston from Jefferson Co. last year was sub 4.5 for sure.....maybe even sub 4.4. The 4.4 and 4.5 times are really fast but i say that there are more kids that can run those times in TN then one would think.

Did someone say there was going to be a game??? They must be talking about two other teams. DB will run away with this. Got a feeling that the fans in Kingsport will get to see some young faces because by the end of the night.....DB's 5th string will be in.

I got a bad feeling for JC in this one. All the playmakers from last year are gone, and I got a feeling these younger guys might not be able to handle the pressure thats going to be placed on their shoulders. Jeff Co. opening away with lack of playing experience at the key positions.......bad news for my Pats. Rhea County by 10 I hope the JC can prove me wrong though

West Trojan - the only thing "West" has shown their good at is "talking junk" Why dis Scooter when you have no one on your team that can catch him, or has as much talent as him. I don't know if you said that stuff just because you don't like people that are better then you or is it you are just scared that Jefferson County is going to come into TROJAN COUNTY county and mess up that perfect season you guys are hoping for. (just how the Rebels came in your house last year and put one on you.)
