The most exciting high school football game I have ever seen was Morristown West vs. Greeneville, the first time (regular season) in 2002. 45-42 was the final and the game had a little bit of everything.

i used to be down on them too. back in the summer i didn't think they would win more than 3 games. However, from what i hear they have improved. i think they beat science hill (5-3) and fared relatively well against anderson county. oh by the way that science hill scrimmage was the night before the jamboree (and it lasted about 3 hrs). but i guess you are right there is no room for improvement ever so they will probably stink all year.

i agree with east high hurricane. West day in the sun is over. with coach smith on board west's days are over. east has a new coach and new attitude.

As i said before just because a team has been good in the past , doesnt mean they will be good now. I would like to think the Trojans would be good, but I look at their schedule and think they could easily be 1-4 to start the season (if they can beat Cocke County). I also think they will quit if this happens. They have been so used to beating up on IMAC teams and Campbell County that I don't think they are ready for the big time. I am not a hater. I just call thinkgs like I see them. I went to Mo West and I hope things work out great for them, i just don't look through rose-colored glasses.

I hate to say it having attended West, but their days of winning big are over. I went to the scrimmage at Anderson County and they looked awful. They were soft, their offensive line wouldn't block anybody and they had no passing game. They have pretty good talent on defense, but they don't play hard. The most disturbing thing to me was that they seemed to have no leadership. They really didn't care that they got beat. With the schedule they have if they play like that they are in big trouble (2-8, 3-7). I hope i'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Jeff County is back. They will win the 5A title this year and go undefeated mark it down.

I BELIEVE THE PENALTY FOR PLAYIN AN INELIGIBLE PLAYER WOULD BE AT THE VERY LEAST A FORFIT IN ALL OF THE GAMES THAT PLAYER PARTICIPATED IN.
