  1. where can i listen at????? the coacht link is not coming up at all.
  2. We (Mialn) didnt play that well on defense and made silly errors against Lexington. Milan didnt picth either 1,2,or 3 man in this scrimmage. Just a couple underclassmen got a chance. Lexington does look solid on both sides and I'll give them props on the pre-season win but Milan will come around quickly as our season starts and with the addition of John White back in thelineup to fill a hole....I'd like a rematch sometime but main key for Milan right now is defense. P.S....Milan DOES have a very solid catcher with a solid arm and a beast with balls in the dirt. You didnt steal one bag because of him...Our pitchers didnt hold and pick at all
  3. I know that its not the hardest district in TN. District Championship..J.White from Milan v.s. Cupples from Dyer. Ill go with Milan.
  4. Hayes is going to mow just about everyone down. If you really think about it, if he had atleast 2 above average bats and fielders it would be over with each game he pitched. In my opinion, if he gets a win from another pitcher in the district tournament they are moving on because he will not lose.
  5. I played in that league..we beat them in a doubleheader twice in Huntingdon. D1, not at all.
  6. Milan could beat anyone on that list. Covington could also. Milans gone back to back to back district champs over Lexington. Munford and Huntingdon...lets come back to reality.
  7. This post should probably be put in each locker room around the state during off season workouts. It would more than likely give the right motivation to the players to work hard throughout the off-season.
  8. Nice Post...Now when I stroll back into town on a friday night..All I can see is those lights and the memories that were made there. Its pretty overwhelming.
  9. Ill have to agree. Guy took Martin Westview on his back and beat both Huntingdon and Milan with an average team.
  10. GP did something most teams would not do. They came out swinging in the 2nd half against a team that is realisticly overpowering... They made the right adjustments at the half to put them in a spot to score. Early in the game GP didn't execute in the red zone on multiple occasions. They regained focus and sent the game into OT.
  11. True. Ill take back that statement. It really has no evidence. H20boy, I dont need two names to make topics. I've been back in west tennessee for Thanksgiving. Get coacht to check IP addresses if you really want to. Or get a life, either one.
  12. Just to clarify it...There were 12 men on the field. The extra player blocked a blitzing Milan lineman. That blocker was the only thing between him and a Milan sack. NO, there is nothing to do about it. So we will move on.
  13. HAHAHA..I sat in my friends car listening to 100.9 tonight. All I could do was show a full smirk as they lost in OT.
  14. I dont know about all the comparing regions and what not....Milan and Huntingdon can play with and beat anyone in this state in 2A football. Thats just a given.
  15. They will be seeing K.Fullilove in their dreams this whole week.
  16. Gerry, you were there last year?..I sat over with Orange Mound last year too. What a ballgame..I have the upmost respect for both Maryville and Melrose. Its a shame someone has to lose. Lets go Melrose.
  17. The Kicker was Cooper. They now have a "real" place kicker. They will be fine. Ill say Melrose 26 Maryville 17.
  18. Ive seen Maryville, but not Melrose..this year. After seeing what Cooper did last year and comparing it to this year, they are pretty solid when you take a peak at the tailback. Maryville looks relatively small overall but they are really fast at getting to the ball. They have one big size defensive lineman and two stud running backs that really make the plays. I wouldn't say there are holes there all the time but they sure are good at making people miss. Im still pulling for Melrose. OrangeMoundWest,KWC, and the rest of Orange Mound Good Luck
  19. Indeed 12 men on the field. TSSAA apologizes to Milan for the mistake. Can't do much about it, although it will leave a bitter taste in everyones mouth in Milan. 12th man blocked a blitzing lineman..only blocker between him and the QB. Not much else to say about it.
