  1. Yeah, Lawrence Co. will be good. Probably even real good. But in this Region, a "good" team won't make it to the playoffs. Excellence is required. I would move Overton down to 8, then move Tullahoma and White County up one notch each.
  2. Final from Roy Sewell Gymnasium: White Co. Warriorettes 51 Cookeville Lady Cavs 50 In Overtime.
  3. Livingston is a very good team. They probably would have done well in the playoffs. I'd say they will easily make it next year.
  4. It should be a good game. I have to say that White County will win, though I am a little bit biased. By the way, does anyone know how many seats are in the stadium? I would think it is less than ours (4,295).
  5. Saturday afternoon at 1:30. It should be a good one. It's a shame they canceled that doubleheader idea, though.
  6. It was a good season for us. All those teams ahead of us definately deserve it.
  7. I'd like to see us and anybody play in a bowl. We haven't been at .500 since 1987 so I'm a little bit ecstatic, that's all.
  8. Tullahoma? This game should be a good one. Hillwood will win, I think.
  9. I think that would be a good matchup. There is a historic rivalry between the two schools. I know we would bring a large crowd to the game.
  10. I hadn't heard that at all. Where did you get this info from?
  11. White County at Hickman County is on Thursday.
  12. Maybe you could clarify those boundaries for me. Thank you. Yes I have heard of them, thank you very much. Have the Cavs ever heard of winning them?
  13. Name: Daniel Maynard Age(optional): 19 School and graduate year: White County High School, Class of 2003 Occupation: Student at Tennessee Tech Favorite team: White County Warriors Favorite moment following your team: September 7, 2001. Livingston Academy at White Co. Warriors trail 14-0 at the beginning of the 4th quarter. They score a touchdown. 14-7. With six seconds left on the clock, they score again, 14-13. Coach Lamb tries a fake kick to get a two point conversion. It fails. 14-13. Onside kick, recovered by Sparta. Four seconds left. Ball at midfield. Hail Mary from Josh Lowery to Kyle Simpson to give us the win, 19-14.
  14. Do Crimson Tide fans root for Auburn when they play an outsider? I don't think it's natural to want your arch rival to do well. Maybe it's easier for you considering the dominance the Cavs have had over us recently. All I feel towards Cookeville is resentment. All I know is, that we take our rivalry very seriously here. Last year, a group of Sparta fans went to Cookeville's playoff game to root for the other team.
  15. Some more interesting facts to refute the statement of "same old story": White County had more first downs (19-13) and total yards than the Jets.
  16. I don't care how much they win by, I just want them to win. Go Lincoln County.
  17. And I thought you were talking about the Hillwood Hilltoppers. Oops.
  18. Dell Lewis is a great runner, and B.A. Young is a good reciever. Seth England is almost as good as B.A., though he's a tight end. He's also a good defensive back.
  19. We've beat you all twice in the past ten years. But the real question is: How many times have you beat Columbia?
  20. Cookeville - White County was started in 1908, I believe. It's not been every year, but it's been pretty constant. That first game was our first ever, and we got thrashed.
  21. 2001: Jets win 27-0. 2002: Jets win 58-0. 2003: Jets win 31-22. I would hardly call it the same old story.
