Roy, I was standing with Croz during the first half. He was not being to cocky tonight. His little girl got sick and he had to head home before the end of the first half. He didn't miss anything, that is for sure.

Gordonsville has played with no emotion and probably the worst game all season. Celina wanted it more from the get go, perfectly played game for them.

Since everyone seemed to get off topic about the game. I would like to highlight Gordonsville senior golfer Sophie Linder just won her 4th consecutive Class A Individual State Golf Championship!!! Pretty amazing feat for her. I believe is an Ole Miss commit as.

I guarantee it's not a weight room issue. I will put our strength program up against anyone. Also you can give the kids all the tools to get more flexible, bigger, faster, and stronger. But you can not force a work ethic on them if they really don't care to truly care to get better themselves. From what I've seen, Gordonsville is very small, biggest players are the two DE/OLB. Any physical team that runs right at them will give them trouble, it's not a secret after the first two weeks. Gordonsville has several multi sport players and they miss winter/spring workouts in which I don't agree with. Hence usually the ones hurt or out for injuries. That really needs to change IMO. The biggest issue I see, they are not very tough, very soft IMO. Not your typical hard nose physical Gordonsville teams that hit you in the mouth for 48 minutes. Is the potential there, most definitely, but that is up to the team and getting that mindset.

Congrats to South Pitt on another Championship!! Great job by the team and the coaches especially through the adversity you all faced.

Played against that 97 Trousdale Co team, down 21-8 at half, driving down the field after halftime past the 50. Our qb keeps it for about 10-15 yard gain, Scruggs hits him from behind and forces a fumble. Game over after that. I still think that was the 2nd best team in Tennessee high school football that year behind Riverdale. Man they were good, was able to get to know a few of them outside of football, even better people. Pulling for those Yellow Jackets Friday night. I have family playing on that team.

Yeah, have had a pretty solid team for the last 5-7 years now. Most of those kids miss about all of spring practice on top of winter work outs.

Not sure really maybe 5 or so, our issue IMO, is all the kids playing baseball not able to get in the that strength, putting on weight, speed, quickness, and agility work they really need.

He is one of those kids you wish was about 6'2 instead of 5'9 playing QB, potential is there for sure
