  1. Harry, If you would look at the quote when you are editing it you can see the HTML code that is used to change the colors! I will let the cat out of the bag... it looks something like Text you want in that color. Or if you want to do it the quick and easy way: highlight the text you want to change color on and then click on the A with the bar under it at the top of the screen and then just pick the color and it will automatically insert the color for you!
  2. Funny how that is the same order they currently fall in the TN coach's poll. I wonder if there is a connection...
  3. BayouBear, On a side note the DI A/AA Brackets are already available: 2007 DI State A/AA Duals Brackets ELM vs Seymour Notre Dame vs Sycamore
  4. 5. Ronnie, The DII coaches seed the tournament now. That means, for the most part, the ridiculous bracketing should be avoided (of course many will still cry foul when the seeding is done by the criteria, because it isn't perfect).
  6. Baucke lost in the Father Ryan finals to Talon Noman. That is his only loss on the year I believe. Manley, I believe, lost at the Catholic Invitational early in the year but I do not remember to who.
  7. I can answer the first question: no they have not. The only person who can likely give a good answer as to the second question is Coach Bray himself.
  8. Hamm's 6th set of rankings were from last week. He has now sent in a new version (late Sunday night received) but they have not been put on the website because I have been sick. Now that I am back on my feet they will be up tonight after I finish with my team's reporting duties. Hopefully the wrestling community will forgive me for the lateness of Hamm's rankings and get off his case as it is not his fault they were not updated on Sunday.
  9. No need to defend our head coach's decision. We had a lot out sick, injured, etc and would have only been sending a handful anyway.
  10. No it wasn't Helias. It was Troy Buchannon. Sadly I was not there for the matches since I have been home sick...
  11. Awww Stove, You know we all miss IrishDad!
  12. I double checked and the TSSAA brackets do show him making the tournament that year. He lost to Douglas of Maplewood in the first round and was not carried. However, you are correct that he had been sick most of the season. He was attempting to recover from mono and to be honest really wasn't anywhere near being ready to compete when he came back. I just don't think he could stand the thought of sitting at home during rgionals and state and decided to give it a shot whether healthy or not.
  13. Yes he did and that change in weight is no surprise if you know Phillip
  14. I think everyone here should take a look at this link http://alabamawrestling.net/index.php?opti...2&Itemid=42 It appears the good folks down in Alabama have gotten approval from the state athletic governing body to hold an All-Star meet of the 6A guys vs the 5A-1A guys. The participants will be chosen be the USAW Alabama Board. They have made custome uniforms (the Double style) that each participant will receive for free. This seems very similar to the match-up of the DI and DII guys that has been talked about in the past. I wodner what kind of effort this took and what it would take to duplicate here? Maybe BamaGrappler can weigh-in for us. Just thought everyone would be interested!
  15. No I actually figured that is what you meant. It can be a surprising sport sometimes but from our end I wasn't surprised by much last night... Germantown wrestled very well and I hope they do well on their out of town trip.

  17. If you think Goss had a cake walk at state at 145 then you would be seriously over looking Josh Baucke, a mistake I am sure Goss was not making. They went into overtime in the state semi's last year so I am sure Goss knows state wouldn't be a cakewalk at either weight.
  18. Absolutely excellent news. Congratulations Kelly. I too am glad to see more of our kids staying home and looking to compete at UTC. Can we put a list together of commitments this year? I can think of: Ben Johnson Demetrius Johnson Dan Waddell Kelly Felix And I know of at least one or two other big names strongly considering UTC.
  19. The Harding Academy I believe they are referring to is out of Memphis.
  20. That is a match I think a lot of us want to see. Definitely two of the state's most decorated going at it. I know Demetrius has spent a good part of the season at 125, I believe in hopes of preparing for college. I believe that were it not for his liking challenges like Mr. Adamson and what I am sure are his post-season plans (possibly that whole Sr. National thing?) that he might move on up to 125, where he has already tech-falled the #1 ranked wrestler, and leave 119 to Mr. Adamson. From a fan's perspective I am glad that is not likely to happen as I think Adamson v Johnson is one of the most anticipated possible match-ups of the DI state tournament.
  21. I know they wrestled in freestyle over the summer but not sure if those results are as relevant in this discussion, but yes they have met on a wrestling mat before.
  22. From what I saw of the CCS kids at Smyrna they may create some itneresting match-ups. The 152 from CCS and the 152 from Harding both seem to have similar styles. I am pretty sure that if you check Bray's most recent rankings Harding's 152 Brad McCarter is ranked second at that weight.
  23. I could be wrong but I don't believe Abrigo was in the bracket at Smyrna.
