Did the point guard from City move?

That is not actually correct. I want to clarify this by saying this is my understanding and I can be wrong. The TSSAA gets the numbers before the data is actually clean. The money isn't tied to the number at this point. We actually have a supervisor in our district who looks at all the kid's schedules to make sure we are getting paid for every kid before our funding number is set. That number doesn't have to be turned into the state until closer to Christmas. If a kid is enrolled but doesn't have a complete schedule listed he will only show up as a portion of a student based on how long he is at school. So if he is missing two blocks on his schedule it is .5. I don't have any idea why TSSAA doesn't use the ENROLLMENT NUMBER which is much cleaner. It basically shows how many have enrolled in the school for the year. This should be addressed or the TSSAA shouldn't ask for numbers from the schools they should just have TDOE send them the actually final number. TSSAA is just not getting the cleaned up data. Not suggesting cheating just stating that I don't think the numbers are an exact picture of enrollment at the time they are turned in to the TSSAA. If you think about it, in some cases, 4-5 kids could move some schools up or down.

Must be a clerical error. Lawrence County schools would be down 397 kids from the 2018 numbers. I think the three schools should be somewhere like Loretto 450, Summertown 425, LCHS 1200. Hopefully it will work itself out. Taking an enrollment count during Covid is not the best idea. Don't know why they just don't use numbers from 2019 fall.

If it was explained to me correctly, if the H.S. Coach assists the junior high team the 8th graders can participate as well.

Edwards would be a great fit at Cwood. His hard work ethic would turn things around , but I seriously doubt he would be interested or a canidate.

Those seven other guys that set with Franks are not assistants. They are recruiting coordinators at WCHS. Each one has his on area. Good luck to all of the region schools. I hope they go 4-0 in the first round.

AA Teams like Loretto and Lewis County should almost always beat teams like Wayne Co or Collinwood or other A teams.

Hey, I am just shooting in the Dark. They may have assistants on staff that could run a defense. How about the young guy that worked with Mac and Moffet and played at Morre County, I think Womack was his name is he coaching anywhere.

Hate to see Price go. He always seemed like a nice man and was very friendly. I think Rice would be a good fit. He was previously in the region and learned a lot from coaching against Mac and Moffett. Rice would probablyu be able to set down with Mac and get some pointers on the Wing-t if he needed to but I think he prefers the veer. He would need a defensive coordinator though.

Starting middle linebacker and best defensive player in region went out with ankle injury just after score was 21-0. Ezell also had agood running game.

Take a family of four who wants to go to a game. 28 bucks before you buy a bag of popcorn. That is too high. If you make minimum wage you have to work over half a day just to get your family in the gate. what does Carter and others at TSSAA make?

Burley, Look out! You must be living with your eyes closed. I am sure you had some great kids on your team and I know you had some good players this year, but they didn't have a back that would play for Wayne County and no one near as good as Risner from Collinwood or even Fanning from Huntland. I also know who sunsetblvd is. He hasn't been an assitant Coach in many years and has several state play -off victories. He can judge people and talent. If he he thinks price can coach then he probably can. Price may not have been your man or right as head coach for Lynchburg. I understand that. How many years has he spent trying to build your program? I think several? Rejoice about is supposed departure, whisper names into your Directors ear, but let him rest. Until you are realistic about your talent level no Coach will be able to met your demands.

Just one minute Chakra20. I know region 6 is down but look at what Ezell has done. I have seen FRA, JO Byrns, DA, and I know how good McEwen and NCS are. Let us all face it DCA and CPA are hands down the best two teams around. The question I have is what quality win does EZell have? They have lost to four very good teams, but I don't see a quality win on their schedule. I am not saying Wayne Co is a world beater. Ezell may kill Wayne County, but your argument holds not water with me. Take DCA CPA out of the picture and I believe the regions are equal. I hope everyone has a safe trip down. Let me hear about Ezell's defense. How well do they defend the run?

I like Byrd from Cloudland. I don't care who they play he has awesome numbers. Line is a little harder. the best I have seen on tape or person are the tackle (I think 79) and guard # 58 from Wayne County.

Zack spend more time in rehab and less on the net. Atkins get off the net and into the weight room.

It will be interesting to see if Wayne County tries to win or sits key players to heal for the playoffs. Winning the first round game is much more important than betting the Raiders.

Is there a radio station that will carry the game?

I think I will go watch the Wayne County MPHS game. I would love to get updates from DCA-CPA. Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks

I am not from Moore County , but have seen them play for the last 15 years and have played against them when Logan and Waggnor and others were there. No way has Price had as much talent in the last 5 years as Mac had. They haven't had a super skill position player in years. I know the the big kid a few years ago was a very good back , but besides him they have been very limited. I say them play C wood this year and they don't have a back that would start for them. I sat on MC side and heard all those people yell at Price from the opening kick off. Hey don't scream at a Coach! Go get degree and apply for the job. It amazes me how many people scream stupid things at Coaches on Friday nights. It would be great if Coaches got to go to other peoples'work sites and yell at them all day. Hey distill that whiskey faster. This not only applies for MC fans but others across the state. Lay off the Coaches. I finally heard one man at the MC Cwood game say, "Collinwood's skill people are just better than ours". No kidding. No coach yells at parents for spawning slow or under sized kids. Price may not be your man that might be true, but how many people from Lincoln Co our other places have moved to Lynchburg with great players as sons since Mac left. Mac and Richard are great coaches, but great coaches must have great players. I hope things improve in MC. It has been a strong football community for years. REMBER A HOUSE DIVIDED CAN NOT STAND>

Huntland will not beat C'wood unless they can establish the pass early. I have seen both teams more than once and Huntland's running game was suspect. The Fanning kid runs hard but holes were few and far between. He was also unable to get the corner against W.C. C'wood puts 10 in the box and single covers any split outs. They also seem to blitz all backers most of the time. They may be reading some , but I don't think so. I believe in order to be succesful against them you must force them to play more pass protective. This is very hard for Wing -T teams to do. The Waggle pass is uneffective if the G or buck is getting blown up. Ask MC. Collinwood 's speed on offense also wioll present problems. These are just the observations of an outsider looking in. I hope both teams have an injury free night. BOB
