While I would never overlook the Oak Ridge Wildcats, I think McMinn has definitely improved as the season has progressed also they are solid and experienced at QB and they are playing at home - for these reasons I think that may be enough to give them the edge in this one. Then again the last time these 2 played in the playoffs it was an upset nobody saw coming - so who knows. Two great programs who are represented well on CoachT. Praying for a safe and competitive game for both teams. IMO this is one of the most interesting matchups this week.

Yeah that was a really good game until you guys blew it open toward the end. I was thinking it was a fake punt or field goal that you guys scored on and then a defensive TD as well. It was very cold.

Brother, that would be awesome but the defense is going to have play a LOT better football than what they have so far this year.

While I’ll agree Rhea Co backs down from no team, I don’t recall a Maryville / Rhea Co game where we lost on an missed kick - closest game I can recall was at Maryville in 2000 and the Eagles lost 21-6. We played Oakland closer at home in a Semifinal loss 27-17 in 89. I got nothing but respect for both Maryville and Oakland but if they meet up again in this year’s Championship game, make no mistake I’ll be pulling for the Rebels to bring that trophy back to East Tennessee where it belongs. Oh and back on topic… I would like to see the Bears pull the upset but in reality, Bradley has another appointment Friday night with Maryville out at the ole woodshed.

Those are older games from a few years back. They used to stream all the games but don’t anymore.

Red Bank lost some guys from last year and are obviously a little inexperienced in some places but they are talented and have an excellent coaching staff so that makes them extremely dangerous. Eagles need to come out Friday night and control this game from start to finish, clean up the penalties and focus on Red Bank - can’t be looking ahead to Next weeks WV game.

Yep, that’s the key - developing and improving every week. This team cleans up the penalties (some were iffy last night) and takes better care of the football and they could make some noise come playoff time.

Very entertaining game Friday night. It certainly appeared that Coach Pemberton came in with a game plan to wear down the Mavs and never flinched even when the Eagles went down 20 - 0 early. The good for Rhea was this young Eagle offense played an excellent game with the exception of the fumble there at end when fighting for yardage. On the flip side the mostly veteran defense has got play better going forward. Of course AC is a smaller school and their depth really hurt as the game wore on but they are a very talented team and should do well in their region. Good luck to the Mavs going forward.

Wow. That’s unusual. It’s never been an issue before. Rhea used to stream all their games a couple of years back and DCM streamed the Rhea @ Karns game year before last. I really hate to hear this because I have a couple of older friends who due to their health cant make it to the games like they used to and I was telling them about the live stream. They were excited about getting to watch it. That’s a shame to because this could be a very good game if the Eagles can cut out the silly penalties. I watched the Anderson Co and Powell game and AC was in great position to win that game. Rhea is going to have their hands full tonight and their going to have to bring their A game to have a shot to win this one. GO EAGLES!!!!
