Brackins Brothers weren't that good and UT was pretty much filled at LB at the time. Pennington: no one knew he would bloom the way he did; he was a longshot coming out of high school. Rickey Upton: whatever happened to him? Just like currently, the Huber kid from Powell, he is a good player, but Bama went after him to try and get to the Bruhin brothers IMHO.

yep, that's the way it has pretty much always been (and should be); you don't like the team you're playing, but if they have a shot at a gold ball and are in a different division, why not pull for them and wish them well? When I went to Maryville, the vast majority of my friends went to Alcoa, Heritage or William Blount.

WAAAAAAAY to early to start talking about the yearly field trip to Nashville. Maryville has played poorly enough in some of the halves this season to allow someone to knock them off. I like what we are seeing thus far, but we aren't even half way there yet.

The main thing is your team didn't quit and they could have done that at the half very easily. My hat is def off to them for that. What was the deal with Warren and the cramps? It seemed as if he had them after every play ...... did they not force fluids on him, esp. at the half? I nearly busted a gut when they drageed him off of the field (down at the endzone); I have never saw a training team do that before.

We def won't be able to run past the ball carrier on a blitz the way we did tonight. A lot of Lindsey's yards came after the front 4 ran past him when we were loading up. What happened to the way that we used to react to the screen pass?
