OK so the only team DB has faced is Oak Ridge(who is one of the top teams in the state)so what they won......and another thing i dont know what you have been smokin but 2 players arent gonna make them suddenly change....oh yea by the way didnt the Owl get beat by Oak Ridge anyways???? -Roll Tribe

Central Bobcat....im not sure but that comment about Oak Ridge not putting up with missing and such i dont believe that is true at all....Last year before the DB vs Oak Ridge regular season i heard that OR star running back had and incounter with that law.....now if that is not a bunch of nonsense.....i dont know what is.....and just to let u know Dobyns-Bennett athletics program is way to disciplined to put up with such nonsense....and my opinion on the whole thing with Lamon at Science Hill i was there and from my point of view the regs were just trying to get at Lamon for any little thing possible.....I say let em play!!!! -Roll Tribe

The whole deal with Lamon missing this game is crazy... The first call i can see why the flag second flag because the index finger in the air??? Come on TSSAA ref. Any ways... DB comes out of the curse this year just like the Red Soxs. DB will play good but need to work harder in practise and come together so they can bring the state title back to the northeast.

If kingsport dobyns-bennett and riverdale do happen to meet in the semi's, will the game be played at J. Fred Johnson or in the boro? I know db and riverdale have both locked down homefield throught the 1st and 2nd round but what wil lhappen after?

Sullivan Eat us running on alot of momentum right now, they are looking strong and they have alot to play for, East squeaks by in this one by a slim margin and Coach Nelson takes the pats deep into the playoffs.

Cougarhater, There is no possible way that you can say that about East coach Ralph Nelson. I for one am a former player of his. Are you?, do you even play football? Have you even seen East play? Well yes they have a few RETURNING senior staters, but for the most part, they are a young team. Coach Nelson has turned the program around, and has given thoses kids something to be proud of. They have tremendous heart, and i dont know how you can say otherwise. Maybe you should go see them before you talk bad about them...

This is a BIG game for the tribe. They need to reamin focuses, and i think the "g" man is keeping their minds on Campbell Co. not the playoffs. They need to take everything one game at a time and what they need to do tobight is take care of the cougars. Over the past few weeks, thge tribe's offense has really come around, and has become very very balanced. Tribe running back Steven Moten recorded something to the tune of 160 yrds last week. With Moten running the ball hard, and Ferguson continuing to air it out, the tribe look like a nice pick. Dobyns-Bennett's offense in very tough to defend and the cougars might have trouble matching up in the secondary. I'm liking the tribe in this one. It is for the conf. championship, and the boys look like they are ready to take care of business. With a win tonight, they will lock down the big east, and possibly homefield advantage. With one more week to go, things are sure looking interesting... -Roll Tribe.

in class 4A, without a doubt sullivan east head coach Ralph Nelson. He has turned athe patriots a full 180 degrees and has lead them thus far to a 8-0 record and a #7 ranking in the state. The patriots have locked down a playoff birth for the first time in school history, and with a win over south tonight, they will be playing Tennessee High for the conference championship. Congrats to the East patriots and best of luck the rest of the way. in 5A...it is up for grabs, but i would imagine whoever wins state will win it...Always a good choice is The "G" man from kingsport dobyns-bennett, he always finds a way to win and returns every year with a team that is capable of going all the way. Congrats to the "g" man on his continued success in Kingsport.

Ok 82cat lets not get to excited here!!!! It really disgust me to see how people get so upset over the truth. Isnt Riverdale called the Warriors anyways????So u dont even have a horse in this race. Obviously you dont even have clue about football otherwise you would know the class of Dobyns Bennet and Riverdale and this Number of miles driven from db to murfreesboro for the championship game amount of gas used driving to the football championship nonsense wouldnt have occured.So do some research before you post. -Roll Tribe
