  1. I agree with you crusader, liberty will take this one in by a touchdown.
  2. Hello. Can somebody lay out the 6-3A scenarios for me because I see that Fayette Ware and Bolivar are tied for the third and fourth sport and Liberty is a game behind them. And I know that Liberty and Bolivar play next week so what's the deal?
  3. I think their are far better standouts than Evan Johnsey on Liberty's team. He won't be much of a factor this year.
  4. Antwan Long, Micheal Douglass, Jamell Vincent, Darrien Taylor, Jacob Tisdale, Chris Hatch, Corey Pittman all from Liberty. Watch out for these people especially Darrien Taylor on defensive line, Jacob Tisdale on Offensive Line, and Antwan Long at Defensive Back.
  5. From what I've been told by former players, McNairy has nothing left after last year.
  6. 1. Liberty 2. Jackson SS 3. Lexington 4. FW 5. Chester 6. Bolivar 7.McNairy
  7. This is how it will end up 1. Liberty 2. Southside 3. Fayette Ware 4. Chester County 5. Lexington 6. Bolivar 7. McNairy Central I know some of you all will disagree but these are my predictions for next year in 6-3A. This is how it will end up
  8. Bolivar has lost quite a bit of talent, but I saw some talent on the squad from some underclassmen that if they stepped it up, could do well next year.
  9. i think ive been on this site long enough and have contributed to many posts and topics of conversation to be made post member. I visit coacht mutiple times a day and this is like my favorite sports site on the internet because it give so much information on various activities and events that are going on as far as sports and Tennessee. I enjoy the debating (which is probably my favorite part) and I've enjoyed the replies to various threads I have posted. Please make me, lilromane, a plus member on coacht!
  10. I see somebody's mad that their player didnt get MVP. Just face it, Liberty's defense stepped it up and created a ton of turnovers. Thadeus got frustrated and wasn't able to produce. But you can have your opinion, but I know what really happened.
  11. This was a good game except for a couple of poor calls by the referee's who mainly controlled the game in overtime. I wanted West Tennessee to take home three and it was a hard fight, but we got our third one. I was gonna leave after the Liberty game, but this game was good so i decided to stay. i didn't kno i would see be seeing a dogfight. lol.
  12. They "Yea" cheer along with that "We are winning" cheers are my favorites. Those are all fan made cheers, i guarantee that. I love it! I remember first "We are winnning" cheer when we beat Bolivar at Regionals. It felt so good!
  13. We won it far and square, yes Young didn't produce, but Liberty's defense had a lot to do with that, because Young did miss a lot of shots due to pressure applied to him. Quit trying to take this away from us, just be happy for us because we did an excellent job yesturday. WE HAVE THE GOLD BALL AND WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR TO PROVE OURSELVES AGAIN BECAUSE I'M GUESSING THE DOUBTERS STILL DOUBT!
  14. yea...we are crazy...i was right in the middle of it...lol...we basically stand up the whole game and cheer for our team because we feel their hunger and we have that some hunger to prove our school to be taken seriously and I now think we are because I saw folks from JCM, North Side, Madison Academic, Southside cheering with us with in the bleachers. hey tdntn, which chant were, you talking about?
  15. I had the liberty of scouting out McMinn to see if what we were up against tomorrow, but McMinn pace is way too slow for them to even dream about facing a team with the athleticism and speed of Liberty and actually having a competitive game. As a matter of fact, the game between McMinn and Alcoa nearly put me to sleep, but i wanted to see Raleigh-Egypt and Bearden play so I stayed. Like one of McMinn's fans said, #33 is gonna have to pick it up tomorrow or Liberty will take this one with ease. I want to see an exciting game today, so Central, please bring it to us.
  16. thanks for that, it took like 10 replies to finally get it, but thank you. From what i see i can predict Liberty 86 Hume Fogg 60
  17. I've never heard of Hume Fogg until now. Who are their key players? What style of game do they play? How do they match up against Liberty and what are everybody's predictions?
  18. Good job tonight Liberty, I very much enjoyed this game, especially with the outcome in our favor. Brandon Evans stepped it up along with the rest of the team. Next stop, Haywood.
  19. As a fan and a spectator, i feel as if this situation was taken completely out of hand. Elbows were flying all night, and had it been anybody else besides Kemp and Chism, a fould would've been called and that would've been the end of it. The suspension by tssaa is probably bad enough, but everything else after that is totally unnecessary. The written letter of apology, community service, and extra suspension time are completely bogus and I believe he is being used as a scapegoat. I feel sorry for him.
  20. well...he's at every Bolivar and Liberty game, and i'm not saying he gives these games to Bolivar, but he's refeereed at every one of these games. Maybe it a coincidence, but we will see Thursday.
  21. Despite what happens from now on, I have to give it up to my team Liberty. These boys are the most hardworking, well put together team I've seen. They are on top of their work at school and also on top of their game on the court. They put everything they have on the court and bring it in every game they play. Forget the fact that they're a third year team, forget the fact they sport a 29-2 record, throw out the fact that they debuted #1 in the AP poll and are now #2, throw out also that they sport one of the best junior classes in the state and tout a DI signee, Liberty and Coach Dexter Williams have done incredible things in their third year and they get the upmost respect and props from me and all of their fans. Tragedy hasn't stopped them. Controversy hasn't stopped them. Heartbreak hasn't stopped them. They push foward and add it to their motivation which is amazing considering some of the obstacles they've overcame this year. Coming from a classmate and big fan, I've seen these boys at school and have went to school with some of them since middle school. These team is a family and stay close to each other and I expect them to be friends way after this is over. Thank you for taking Liberty this far and making my last year at Liberty exciting and I hope yall go as far as yall can (hopefully to state) and major props is given.
  22. I already made my comment on the other thread about what I expect from this game. Liberty hopefully will step it up in the first half to keep it close and eventually come up with the win. Liberty 76 Bolivar 72
  23. ok, i just have to say before the Bolivar vs Liberty Round 4 talk starts, when i go Thursday, I want to see a fair, clean called basketball game. I was heavily disappointed and the calls made last time and also the game itself. THIS IS BASKETBALL, NOT FOOTBALL. Enough with the elbowing and pushing from both teams. And that same referee that shows up to every game that Bolivar plays on the road. I don't know his name, but he needs to make better calls this game for Liberty and not just for Bolivar. I still predict my team Liberty to come out with the victory anyway. Can't wait to see it!
