Yep, I agree what you are saying. I too am very close to the program and team, and have been for many years. Yes, while the one word play callings seems very simple to most of us, some of the players do not seem to be grasping it. I'm not sure why that is to be honest. Maybe it's still early in the season. I have not doubt that Wes and the rest of the staff will get it worked out one way or the other. He and I have been friends for a very long time and I trust his plan. This team will make a run at the state game if these issues clear up.

The West is an even heavier favorite to win Gold this year compared to last year. BUT, the east will be ready to play.

Not at all OP. It's all about how the plays are relayed to the players. Sometimes getting too creative wrecks havoc.

Must clean up the mistakes and control their emotions. This team, while young, has talent but issues are glaring. These type of issues can get you knocked out of the playoffs in the first round if not corrected. I'm still not seeing a true leader on the team. Someone needs to step up soon. The younger players need to see what it takes to rise above. I'm also concerned that we are still having trouble lining up in formations. Maybe it's time to simplify things. Confusion creates emotional outbursts, let's eliminate the confusion. With all this said, I fully expect the Pirates to handle the Tigers this week.

Congrats to Murphy on a great game last night . Well disciplined team that plays smash mouth football . The kind of team we have ALWAYS struggled with no matter how talented we were.
