  1. Pulling for Coach Hughes and the Red Devils. Think Powell pulls it out in a close one though.
  2. CCS might be the only contested matchup for the Swamp Buccaneers until Webb. And CCS is a maybe.
  3. That one with Webb should be good. Might surprise a few people.
  4. What about that defense though? #1 Defense in state in PPG.
  5. Bearden wins this game big whether AC is healthy or not. AC is not very good this year.
  6. Bearden Wins this one. West has to replaces too many dogs from last years team and Bearden has put together a great team of kids from all over the state of Tn. I see Bearden going 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season and finally getting over that Maryville hump. The only teams i think that may beat Bearden this year is Bradley Central or Alcoa. But 9-1 or even 8-2 is still impressive with that tough schedule. Bearden wins this one 31-14
  7. It helped that the #1 player in the country moved to Powell, Tn 2 weeks before the season started mysteriously. West wins it all last year if not for that. Josh Jones isn't helping Powell recruit anymore since he moved out West Knox to Bearden, so Powell better be grateful for that one and only gold ball they have... As for this year, West will run the ball down Powell's throat until Lamar Brown gets tired of running it. Powell may score a few times, will not stop West at all.
  8. West would beat Greeneville THIS year. I do believe it would be close but after seeing both play, I believe West would win. Only year that would or could happen for awhile.
  9. West will beat Boone by 28+ if Boone even makes it to West. Boone has to beat a down Knox Central team first. But nobody will stay within 2 scores of West throughout the playoffs.
  10. You must not have seen West play. It will be worse than 35-7 by halftime. They wont have a playoff game within 28 points until atleast the semifinals.
  11. I don't expect Boone to be able to stop this offense from scoring a good amount of points. I could see them however, running the ball with some success on Centrals, weaker than usual, run defense. but In the end I believe the Bobcats pull away. 30-14 Central
  12. Crockett is too well coached to get beat as bad as Mo West did. Expect a closer game than the experts think.
  13. It would not surprise me either but i could see Davy Crockett knocking down Sevier County. Crockett is well coached and Sevier County's all-star quarterback is banged up.
  14. Campbell Co. (Too much offense for Oak Ridge to keep up) Central (They just play good ball at this time of year) Bearden (Their defense is for real) South Doyle (Game shouldn't be close. Gary rushes for 200+) Fulton (Too much speed and athleticism on the edges and too stout up front)
  15. Okay, anything you ever say from here on is irrelevant lol.
  16. A generational ball club that didn't win state? I watched them lose to a half way decent Henry Co team. They would be close to not being a top 10 team in the state just that year. So why would they be relevant in a discussion on the best teams in the state ever??
  17. Powell didn't win state and wouldn't be a top 5 team in the state that year. They're very irrelevant to this discussion.
  18. I believe Beech wins by a little more than everybody is expecting. Hard nose, physical ball wins at this time of year and that is Beech's identity.
  19. First time around was a great game. I expect nothing less tonight. I could see this one going either way, but Central just plays good ball this time of year, especially on defense. I believe they'll find a way to figure it out. I expect a low scoring, hard nose, physical football game. Cant wait to see this one! 17-15 Central
  20. There are actually 0 seniors on the offensive line. Only 1 senior that has started every game on offense and that's Mr. Liam Fortner.
  21. Glad to have football back. Central is replacing Coach Rosser and a big nucleus from the past 2 championship teams, but still have a great amount of talent in spots. I anticipate a slow start with having a new OC, QB, and having no scrimmages, but expect the Bobcats D to still be dominate. Prediction: 24-7 Central
