In tourney or reg season?

I don’t think anyone will go undefeated in this district. Lot of balance. SFe is a tough place to play. Don’t think they lost anyone that mattered a lot. Finished ahead of Cully last year. They beat Richland last year and was close to MP. I was just giving my opinion. 1 of these 4 teams will finish 4th I just chose Cully.

Richland ,MP, S Fe and Cully will be a good race as it looks like they all Improved. Richland is starting to come around after Helton returned from broken foot. Have gone 9-1 with him back. 0-4 without him. I say : 1) Richland 2) S fe 3) MP 4)cully 5) Hampshire

Richland is a solid team. They didn’t back down from Eagleville. Came back from double digits twice before pulling out the W. They definitely overlooked Corn after beating them by 50 2weeks earlier. Shot like 4-20 something from Foul line. Having seen Eagleville , FCity, huntland & corn. I say Eagleville wins it.. FC huntland Moore county for 2-4 then Cascade and Corn rounding it out. FC has won lots of close games which is a sign of a good team but not a dominating squad. Should be a fun district to watch. Eagleville should make it back to state.

Playing where you want to play is college or AAU. Not high school basketball. Geez!

Agree.. Can’t stand them either but they have so much depth. Unless Cary gets in foul trouble they will have great chance to bring home the Gold ball. Already beat Fayetteville, Eagleville and McKenzie . Eagleville did beat them also tho. Middle ten represented well in single A!!!

Dude they were shooting 2FT down 6 with 3:26 to go. They missed them both!! BUT I’d say that’s close.plus CA coach used 2-3 time outs in 4th. Also a sign that Richland was oh so close. Really good game. In my opinion, 2nd qtr cost the raiders. Not bad for 3 Soph’s, a freshman, 8th grader, 1 senior and jr. gained lots of confidence in tough loss I am sure!!

That was well said. CA is definitely the favorite to get to boro in this region. They have already played & beaten everyone that will challenge them to get to state except West Carrol and Summertown. Personally don’t see either of these beating CA at CA. And I would agree that 2 or 3 of the 10a teams could advance to Semis. Richland has beat McEwen and Houston Co. back in Dec and Nov. but that don’t mean much in 3 weeks. Other than I feel like the Raiders can compete with the 9 a teams. Unlike an earlier post a few days ago stated.

Richland is 14-8 MP is 12-9 both 5-1 in district

Fayetteville loaded with seniors summertown loaded with seniors. Loretto will be strong but not so sure who else you talking about in 8 or 12 beyond this year high school sports you never know guess we will find out over next couple of years.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this subject. Saying make believe champion.. who says we won regular season championship anyways. It is all about the tournament. plus if Hyle was still at Sante Fe and CA didn’t have the Giles county kid. This district would look a lot different. Would say CA and Sante Fe would likely be playing for championship with Richland and MTP close behind and who knows what would happen in the tourney. So let CA blow everyone out one last time and everyone can say how unfair it is for them not to get to beat up on these inferior teams all year. Besides it will likely benefit them with tougher competition so they can cut the nets down in the boro In a month or so. MP, Sante Fe and Richland are young. Not sure about Cully. So district should be more competitive in next couple of years.

They are Senior heavy, Carson Cary is their best player. He can do it all. Believe he signed w Lopscomb.They have good size and can shoot it. Average around 80 pts a game.

CA possibly state Champs as long as Cary stays healthy. 2: Richland 3: MTP 4: Cully 5: S Fe 6: Hampshire

I am not saying Richland will win it but they have wins over Wayne, STown, CA. Yes they played a weak schedule. Can't help that the district is weak. So not sure what a legit 21-2 team is actually but just saying the raiders can play with any of these teams. And it will not be a Cake walk for CA. Pretty sure the top4 in 12 can play with CA. Yes they are good but are not that much better than any of these teams.

I'd say you will be impressed by the Cary twins for CA.. They can play.. Shoot, drive and just high basketball IQ plays.. Haven't seen M Co play but I'd say CA wins this one by 6-10.. I am not a CA dude just in their district and giving my opinion!!

Whatever boys not saying you not gonna be in finals but CA ain't no joke!! They have 2 strong guards a 6'10" guy and a 6'4" guy that rebounds like rodman.. So don't make reservations in finals just yet.. But heck they may not win their first round game anyways but that's what we will all pay to see
