I’d never seen whitwell play before 2017 so I didn’t know this whitwell. I only saw the good one haha.

I havnt seen Webb or Boyd place this year but we must be bad. No offense to Boyd but you don’t go from beating a team by 50 two years in a row to losing. I see a losing season this year if that’s the case. Congrats to Boyd!

CCS is better than you guys think. Baylor and McCallie would destroy everyone in Chattanooga this year. So you can throw those out. Thet being said last year’s Whitwell team would be undefeated right now. There is a Grand Canyon difference between last year and this year though. It’s very hard to comprehend it’s the same school, team, fans. Night and day difference through three weeks.

They just looked better than usual against Baylor. Yes they lost 49-6 but they had some chances to score. Have a couple good skill kids. More depth than ND and more speed than Webb (extremely weird to say both things and probabaly won’t happnen again). Notre Dame didn’t look that great in the second half against Central who got destroyed by Tyner. I’m not saying they are a favorite but Webb and Notre Dame will have Tougher games than usual with them I think.

This is a down Webb team to say the least. All the speed players are all gone. One at Baylor the rest on division 1 sidelines. Webb is good up front. Which is a change from past years but there isn’t a home run threat. That being said no way Boyd got that much better in one year and Webb got that much worse to swing 50 points. Webb 24 Boyd 7

Why are the numbers so low for ND? Had maybe 30 kids. 2nd half it showed.

Ya know I’m not sure. But if he were to have gone anywhere I would have wanted it to be Baylor if not Webb. And they are incorporating him nicely. Baylor coaches have said he’s the most explosive kid to ever come through the program. Which is not news to me. I’ve watched him since 8th grade.

I said nothing about top 5. I said Baylor will be much improved. The talent on this year’s roster is eye opening. If they stay healthy they will be a tough out for anyone.

I don’t think either of these two teams are as good as they were a year ago. That being said ND has to be the favorite.

How can you say Red Bank and Tyner would have beat Whitwell when the only comparison we have in common opponents Whitwell wins. Red Bank barley squeaked by Signal. A team Whitwell pulled starters against and callled odd the dogs. Then Whitwell beat trousdale. The same trousdale team that mercy ruled Tyner. Sure we don’t know for sure because of matchups but if anyone would get the benefit of the doubt it obviously would be Whitwell for the above said reasons. Look im a Division 2 guy. And both of my favorite schools would mop the floor with ER every single year. ER doesn’t exactly have a tough schedule either. In fact it’s a pretty weak region (outside of Anderson County) that pretty much never makes it past the second round of the playoffs if that. Once again you’re proving you don’t know HS football or your bias is getting the best of you. South Pitt year In and year out is better than every team in East Ridges Chattanooga region. You guys dont play anyone either! Haha. Whitwell beat four teams that would have mercy ruled ER last year and at least two more that would have beat them I can’t believe someone from ER is pounding their chest right now. Outside of 2016 no one has ever been impressed by ER football. ER is not good this year either. Whitwell was just that bad last night.

I’ve only watched them play the last two years 2017/2018 so this feels down to me but yes you are correct.

I hate to do this to you but this post is so ignorant I am forced to. 1. 2018 Whitwell Tigers were the best team in Chattanooga between Class 1A and 4A. They would have mercy ruled ER last year or this year. 2. East Ridge would not have finished in the top 5 of 1A the past four years. maybe not even top 10. 3. Whitwell Finished 33 in the state all classifications. East Ridge 225. East Ridge lost to Signal Mountain. A team Whitwell pulled starters out in the 3rd on a way to an easy 42-10 win. You also lost to Polk County, another team Whitwell mercy ruled. Whitwell also beat Trousdale who destroyed Tyner, who we all know would have ran East Ridge off the field. 4. Your bias and ignorance is staggering. Its clear you do not know high school football. Sorry that it sounds harsh but this is a very stupid post with nothing to even remotely back it up. 5. The only thing you said that is accurate is how down Whitwell is this year. Don't get that confused for last years team because it is night and day difference.

Baylor is going to be the best they’ve been since Ryan Parker and the crew was there. The talent is staggering with the addition of Howard and QB out of Nashville area. Have a chance to have a very special year. Webb has lost every speedster they had. No experience coming back except on the lines. Havnt talked to the coaches yet this offeseason but losing Howard was a huge blow.

Little misleading to say they beat the team that beat the 6Astate champ when the 6A state champ also beat Maryville in a blowout when it mattered most. Watching both State title games I don’t think Alcoa beats Oakland. But to answer your question I like the 10 team better.

What is Boyd’s 2019 Schedule?

I was standing right next to the ref...he threw it as soon as he ball was snapped. I’m not sure why he didn’t blow he whistle immediately but it was thrown immediately almost right next to me.

UT-Martin has offered and other schools on that level are also interest. If he was a little taller I think he’d have even more interest.

Both of these are toss ups. If they played ten times you may have seriousl have 5-5 splits on both.

Jefferson may be the most underrated four year starter to play in Knoxville. No one talks about him and he’s an absolute stud.

Webb’s not at full strength so that doesn’t make me super confident. I haven’t seen BGA this year by common opponent ECS we both lost to. I think you all lost 20-7 and Webb lost 13-10 but we were healthy. So I will try to watch some film on BGA to get a better feel.

CCS is better than Silverdale and Boyd football wise. He may not have liked that. Webb is a very nice school. If you’re son is a lineman we could have used him! Haha.
