  1. I have no clue what Ensworth has this year. Just saying that it's possible and wouldn't surprise me.
  2. I don't think it'll be that shocking. South Pitt beat Lipscomb Academy 2017 and 2018 yes they didn't have the team they have now but I wouldn't be very surprised if UC pulls off the upset or at least keeps it close. Regardless it'll only make UC better.
  3. What's obvious is there wasn't enough money for Jones.
  4. Geno either you are blind or still polishing that Jones mans balls. Sp takes a Charter Bus to every away game whether it's 5 miles or 500. We have a pre game meal every Friday. We have the best under armour uniforms they offer. We have one of the nicest stadiums in 1a. The list goes on and on. Sp has more support than most larger division programs. There are not many, if any, smaller division schools that are as fortunate as we are. Yes, it takes community support, whether it's fundraising, donations, volunteers, game attendance, etc. Do you think all those things are free??
  5. We can't pick our region and with or without Collins or Wallace we still could name the score just about every year on any of those teams. We will get tested and that's why we schedule tough non region games. This year the biggest test will be Middle Tennessee Christian School. Jesse Perry high 3 star commit should be a major challenge for Collins. Franklin Co 6a should be an interesting match up. I believe they have a few getting some offers.
  6. Winning a title helps every kid on the team. At Sp that is the goal every year. At Sp we don't play for district championships or region championships. We aren't satisfied with making it to the semis. Sp starts every season with a goal of a state title. I've never said anything about Sp not having money. It's obvious Sp has a lot of support whether it's facilities, uniforms, charter busses, the list goes on and on. The people in Sp support our football team year in and year out. That's obvious. As far as these two kids getting "incentives," maybe they did benefit from an NIL deal.....maybe they didn't. I can tell you that not a single person commenting on this thread knows. At the end of the day Sp will continue winning and kids will continue to transfer. Kids want to play for a program that is supported and a program that competes for championships every year and yes they come on their own free will P.S. You couldn't even name one could you?
  7. It's sketchy they transferred to Sp but would not be sketchy if they transferred somewhere else? Sounds like someone is just jealous Name a "bigger" public school in the area that has the tradition and competes for a championship just about every year. Private shouldn't be in the conversation. It cost 30k plus to attend unless scholarships are offered not saying either weren't deserving of a scholarship but unless it was offered the average family can't afford the price tag. So where in your opinion should these young men have transferred that wouldn't have been "sketchy "
  8. When is the deadline for signing up
  9. A few new opponents on the schedule next year. Hoping we have a good off season. Weight room should be at the top of our list.
  10. Congrats to both teams on a great season! I'll be pulling for the underdog in this one and hopeful clay can bring gold back east.
  11. This should be a dandy! MASE has the athletes to match McKenzie and they have a very good line of scrimmage but tonight looked very undisciplined.
  12. If Gordonsville can limit turnovers I think they win by 2 scores.
  13. He's talking about Ricardo ( I think that's what his name was )
